Mr Jarvis, Just wanted to say on behalf of all terriers, Happy Birthday and thanks for your tremendous efforts on behalf of the club so far. I only hope your role can move from one as part as KDSL to one in the heart of HTAFC cos you are a true football man and put the fans to the forefront. A real breath of fresh air for town and I hope it continues! Have a good day, dont work too hard

All Football Fans always talk about Managers, Chairman and Players but the people that work behind the scenes are just as important and don't get their share of praise. Mr Jarvis has gone beyond his job description and helped the Club in anyway possible even with the hardest of tasks e.g. getting the Fans more and more involved with the Club and getting an email reply within a day and not a week. Thank you Mr Jarvis and I feel the Club have done everything right since Ritchie went but I hope the Club clamp down of the talk of Promotion because Nothing is guaranteed in Football. I hope the Club is also prepared if we don't get Promotion for whatever reason. Thank you and oh by the way Happy Birthday

My only hope is that all the effort is not wasted. Sean Jarvis and others have planted a seed with which the club, community and supporters can develope from. It is down to us the supporters to make all the effort worthwhile by supporting the initiatives and future efforts that grow from this positive start. HAPPY BIRTHDAY SEAN

Over the last few weeks I have in contact with Sean regarding a local event which Town are very kindly sponsoring and are doing some publicity for.
He has been extremely helpful (along with Alisdair Straughan) and finally the divide between the supporters and club seems to be closing.
Many thanks Sean.

Cheers for the messages
A signing would make a good birthday present - but would hope that may come next week or week after.
Thanks also to those that turned up last night - great do.
Here's to a fantastic and memorable season!
Sean

The PR at Town has improved immeasurably since SJ arrived at the club.It takes a miracle worker to get this board in such a positive frame of mind and remove Mr Davy from the topic of most discussions on here

Happy Birthday SMJ
One query why do you never make any comment on threads about our away ticket allocation scheme?
This policy is biased against non-local residents (which I am) & the short of cash (which I certainly was when many years ago I last lived in Huddersfield and attended all but 4 games H&A).
It appears we may soon have the cheapest season tickets + most expensive away membership scheme (i.e. B&WF) which IMHO will be a complete joke.
Any comment?

Happy birthday.
I'm delighted to see that Sean is getting the plauidts which imo he deserves. I'm sure he will agree his job is much easier when you have season tickets for £100, but the key is to maximise that as much as possible - and with radio adverts, tv adverts, billboards, etc i don't think we could have done anymore.
General communication has improved, looking at issues eg) match entertainment, website, centenary ideas etc.
But it also helps maximise the success of schemes like the fams of the future from last season - it was an excellent initiative, but as i said at the time, it needed something for the core fans to maximise the gains from it. Its hard to judge/measure but I'm sure the fans of the future initiative was one of the reasons we were able to sell so many season tickets. As i said at the time, to gee the most out of targeting young town fans, you need to help their parents, after all, 7 year olds can't go to the game on their own.
The two ...the season ticket offer/fans of the future go hand in hand!
I also hope the efforts of Sean have opened the eyes of a few on here, to show how important it is that we are run as a business and use economics! Sounds boring to some of you, but if we want to challenge at the top of the championship, its these sorts of things that can give us the extra 10% which we need to compete with the likes of Wolves etc.
Its true that win games = crowds increase, but i'd like to think those who were skeptical to the appointment of someone in a business development, have realised how important for a club like ours it is. The real importance will be seen, as i say, when we are in the championship.

IMO the work that has been done by Sean and his team has been fan-tastic! In bringing out the ST offer to releasing information on the spread of ST sales to even the breakdown of adults/students etc.... Information that as far as i'm aware hasn't been in the public domain from Town in previous seasons. Keep up the great work sean and the 'gang' ! UTT!!!
