They just confirmed on BBC about him going in the dressing room and congratulating all the staff and players.

That's fair play, telly didn't give it justice then. Stead though, we are crying out for a player to hold up the ball like that. Why hasn't it worked for him here?

Cracking result for the chickens. But do the big clubs really give a fuck about the FA cup? I've said it for ages, make them. Give a Champions League spot to the winner - not just any, the top spot. Put them straight through to the group stage. You'd soon see it become the number 1 priority.

But then there is the possibility of Crawley town mixing it with the worlds elite! The football league would never risk it

Mourinho does all the hand shaking 2-3 minutes from the end and goes down the tunnel as soon as the whistle goes. No idea why he can't just do it normally like everyone else though

Apparently Chelsea donated 20k to the Bradford burns unit. Maybe they sort of had to to cover for the twat tweeting "You can score all you like, it won't bring back the 56 that died in the fire"(to their official twitter account.

That's fair play, telly didn't give it justice then. Stead though, we are crying out for a player to hold up the ball like that. Why hasn't it worked for him here? From those highlights, it looks as though Stead works best holding the ball up when it's to his feet to play others in (essentially, he's strong when his feet are on the ground). However, when we're looking for 'hold up' play, it's to get us up the pitch from the back (for better or worse) and, more often than not, to try and flick the ball on so Wells and/or a midfielder running from deep can run onto it - meaning it's launched forward by Smithies or a centre-back, usually to the head. Despite his height, winning headers has never seemed to be Stead's strong point when we saw him play in his second spell with us (for example, when we played Wigan at home).

You've got to play to show you can play. We seem to lose quite a few players on the training ground. I'm sure theres not much wrong with Martin Paterson either, he did alright the last time he was given a run, but if your face doesn't fit then it doesnt fit. Seemingly.

Credit where it is due that by any standards was a fantastic result, BC deserve every plaudit and all the attention this will generate.
At the end of the day it makes no odds to my life as a HTAFC fan neither would it had they been drubbed. My focus is next Saturday, now that matters a little more.

Astonishing result, just fkin fuming that we've not had one of these in recent years. It's the cup result we (as in football fans in general, not just Town) all dream about. It'd have been a good awayday anyway, but then to get one back - terrific - to equalise - mental - take the lead - pandemonium - finish it off w/ a 4th - probably the best away result the Shitty fans that were there will ever have. Much the same as our unbeaten run tho', as it means fuck all. Will they win the cup, no. Will they even make much coin from it? Depends who they get & how far they get - lose at home against Palace in the next round and its back to the dreary reality of L1. Still wish it was us tho' - well done Bradford.

Well done Bradford and well done Steadinho. We had two goes at Chelsea at the Bridge in the Cup in recent years and didn't get anywhere near where Bradford got, so credit where it's due. I also hope they spend some of the Chelski cash to strengthen the squad and get into the Championship next season.
I'd certainly rather watch Town versus Bradford than against Millwall, home and away. But I also hope we stuff them both times, my loyalties are in no way divided.
Hate is a strong word, I agree, so I won't use it. I'll just continue loathing the white scum.
On a bit of a tangent, I think the biggest threat to City's future success is Park Avenue. IMHO it's no coincidence that City's best time since before the First World War occurred while BPA were nowhere. Now that they are climbing their way back up the ladder, and with the recent takeover in mind, there will soon be a soccer alternative to the Chickens. And in today's game two club cities (Bristol, Nottingham, Sheffield) struggle to match their previous achievements.

Just looked at league tables ...
Although Bradford are one place off the play offs they are 9 points from the relegation zone... We are 11 clear of ours .... Sundays interesting fact

Kenny Irons screamer.

I wish that we could emulate their recent cup heroics. Who knows how far they could progress once more! We have generally been above them in the league and consistently done marginally better in the cups over my lifetime, but they've done the biggies, i.e. the Prem, a cup final and yesterday. I blame my Dad, because Bradford is my home city

From my mate on Twitter who's a Chelsea fan Re: Stead
@scottannear83:he looked every bit as good as he did in the Premier League, why you've got him out on loan I don't know? They deserved it 100%
