I wish folk would stop posting videos of him, you never know who's watching.
Our best player, and along with Scannell the two lads I expect there to be interest in this summer.
I will genuinely despair if we lose Butts. You can't get anywhere by annually flogging your best players, we got lucky last time in that we managed to replace Clayton with Butts. No chance is there another lad like this available to us for the feeble money we spend of late.

People bang on about Clayton, but we haven't had a player like this for a long time.
Probably Dean Gorre was the last really class midfielder, although a different type of player to Butterfield.

I reckon we'd sell if we got offered £4 million. That's a massive profit in 12 months and the way the club is run nowadays Don't agree with it but wouldn't be surprised to see it happen |

Wasn't massively disappointed to lose Clayts, but I'd hate to see Butterfield go. As much as Clayts was excellent for us, I feel that Butterfield offers so much more, and is a much harder type of player to replace. I always felt that Clayton would be replaced easily enough, and thankfully it happened immediately.
Would be a mistake to sell him IMO, regardless of price - unless it's silly money, of course.

Would be very surprised if we sold him this summer...as you say, 'silly money' (4m+)...but we have no reason to - extra year to raise his stock and will still have 2 years left on his contract next summer will be the time to cash in IMO (unless we are promoted ) |

1.5 mill Deano knows how important JB is to the team so £1.5m wouldn't even start to turn his head.. The fact that we got him for a bargain price is irrelevant, it would take triple that amount before DH would even consider it, surely? |

They missed out his 'Bergkamp' style turn in that montage, can't remember who it was against but it was absolutely class!
Top player, shouldn't even be even contemplating selling him he makes us tick.
