Oh and they've signed a 29yo from Shrewsbury on a free and an old bloke released from a Scottish pub team. They must be the two additions that bilo was on about.

Way back where? You always have been bottom two leagues. A fluke couple of years doesn't change that. You've been in the league more with Park Avenue and Halifax than you ever have with us or Leeds. You just think football started when the PL did or summat...getting promoted would be over achieving for Bradford, you are where you belong historically. It's dangerous to get ideas above your station. You see, this is what's so baffling about you little pups. The league you currently ply your trade in, you know, the one that constantly boast about being in; we have spent the same number of seasons in as you. Well, almost. You've spent 30 years in the Champ, and we've spent 29. However, we haven't seen that league for 12 years. Before your return, we'd spent more time in the Champ than you. You need to let go of the 1st division championships, too. They were a long, long time ago. The Prem is a completely different ball game, but I wouldn't expect you to know much about the Prem - coupled with European footbal; but that is a level you'll never EVER see, I suppose. Queeny seeing as you're online at the moment, any chance I could have a reply to my above post where through the use of facts, put you correct in what you said here?

We won't see him again until they have 'sold' another 1,000 season tickets.

seriously sadford fans must have something about them. When you have to go and watch that hoofball shite week in week out, coupled with team colours that look like something someone would vomit up after 10 pints and a dodgy kebab.

This Knight-Percival sounds great. Released by Peterborough 2 years ago.

Just listened to an interview withe their chief exec, they raised £150k for a new scoreboard and some fettling in the changing rooms, admits they are skint without it. Also admits that attendances would fall if they increase prices. Don't own the ground, don't own the training ground, can't afford to upgrade anything without begging. Not so sure I'd be banging on about attendances on another forum.

It's potty when you think about it though. If you reckon you're selling 18k tickets then bung a tenner on and stop begging. Unless they don't sell 18k. And they really would lose fans over a tenner.

Theyve missed a trick really. If they'd given away 2 free kids tickets for every one requested, chumps like queeny could be bragging about 'selling' over 20k.

Personally I couldn't give a flying feck if half a million watched Bradford every week, they're still shite.

Sold is a very misleading term Half of that figure is likely to have been give aways to under 11s or whatever age it is that gets them free. They've probably only sold 8000 at 150 quid a pop. Their playing budget must be tiny And all of them under the mind numbing illusion that yesteryear Mcall is the right man to get them into Championship. The last time he was Bradford manager he got just a 1:3 win rate.......before resigning not exactly ideal Parkinson successor material but at least he's no Judas....

According to a YP reporter on Twitter, they've activated a clause in the contract of Blackpool's Colin Doyle by bidding £1 for him. I sh*t you not I'm sure Queeny will be back in here if City beat Guiseley by more than 1 later today boasting about their superiority.

Doesn't that make him their most expensive signing for about ten years? Big ask to cope with the pressure of expectation from the City fans with that fee hanging over his head. Come to think of it, he could quite literally place that fee on the top of his head.

If he hits the ground running and has a decent season, they could be looking to at least double their money in a year if they need to cash in.
Although Id expect blackpool to have a standard sell on clause that would bite into the profit by as much as 25p.

Don't know why anyone bothers with these jokers? They are a minor irritation not worth bothering about, concentrate on Leeds.

I hope that's of some comfort to you whilst you're slugging it out with Oxford and Northampton next season....who are ya, who are ya. Year on year progression. German investors. Takeovers. 20,000 ST sale targets. Multiple new sponsorships. Reverting back to stripes. Next season looks quite rosey, to be honest. We'll piss this tinpot league, and if we don't, we'll cross paths in the 17-18 season when your luck swallows you whole. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.

Annnnnnnnd new owners confirmed. Take over next week. Initial £10m investment to get out of L1, then on from there. Keep talking little pups, keep talking. We've been through some reete sheete since relegation from the Prem in 2001, but nobody can deny that we're on our way back. I suggest you beg for more pocket money To ensure Champ status, because it's becoming very likely we could be leap-frogging you next campaign. Where is this clown now?

Is this 10 million investment to get out of L1 staggered over 20 seasons ?

Looks like the new owner wants to play at being the manager as well.
I genuinely wanted Bradford to beat Millwall in the play off final, but after the disappointment I re read Queenys contributions to this thread and it eased the pain (just a little).
