Nicky Shorey over there too, could have done a job at left back? One of the lads that I taught was - some years ago - a mascot for an England game. He was told beforehand not to try to speak to the players, but simply hold hands and walk out into the pitch. His 'partner', Shorey, never spoke a word to him. Not even in the tunnel as they waited to go out. No words, no autograph, nothing at all. Poor little 10-year-old was absolutely -fallen and his father, a member of the England Supporters Club - has never forgiven the FA for that stance or Shorey for complying with it. What would it have cost Shorey to have smiled at the lad, ruffled his hair or to have asked him a little about who he supported, etc.? Nothing at all. Instead a lad's dream come true, to walk out at Wembley as an England mascot was tarnished by the egos of the players and the organisers. Very happy to have seen him tumble down the leagues. Billy Big Bollocks.

Diego Poyet's just took a well taken winning penalty for West Ham to beat Birkirkara in the Europa League.
Looked tidy enough in general play, only caught the extra time.

Yep as soon as I read that I thought 'valley parade next season then'. Suppose Doncaster wouldn't be out of the question either. Slapps will be along shortly to announce the official petition to get him back here.

Good luck Nathan Clarke, I'm pleased both Clarke brothers have done well in the game since leaving Town. Both have made fine Club captains. Shame Orient failed in the playoff final last season as it would have been great to see him lift the trophy at Wembley and nice to have welcomed him back to Town as a player too.
Good enough for League One surely?

Yes, he too is very popular amongst Preston fans. They are good lads, both play with passion and show alot of heart for the Clubs they have played with.
Be nice to see Callum Woods down here again, am I right in thinking he plays as both a left and right wing back ? Would have been a great cover for us, maybe we were a little hasty to let him go, though it was the right decision for him to leave and seek first team football elsewhere.

Didn't you create another thread for this kind of stuff or have you given up on that already?

When he first arrived on the scene i thought christ heres some talent! Unfortunately a series of injuries and then a bit of staleness crept in and he never really kicked on, but served our club with distinction and good luck to him wherever he goes on to play..........hope its not sadford though!
