I'm assuming we'll get payment upfront or we could be caught with our trousers down! As someone formally in insolvency this deal should give Clibbens sleepless nights if not... a start up law firm using a large chunk of its cash to sponsor a football club?!

People complaining about a pink logo. Absolutely unbelievable. I could, maybe understand it if we had a pink shirt, but this is moaning for the sake of moaning. Lets wait to see what the shirt looks like, then you can start moaning regardless of whether its nice or not. As I'm sure some of you will do. They'll be asking for a refund on their season ticket soon, what with a sponsor that has a pink logo and now Town selling a midfielder for a substantial fee 5 times more than they paid one year ago, where will it end. Pathetic w@nkers, sorry people but get a fukin grip of yourselves.

That's a beautiful design - really wish the club would consult the fans on kit because we always seem to collectively come out with some crackers

...and the new kit looks like ........................? We've just got to pray that Jarvis has nothing to do with it. Recently, he looks like he's got dressed in the dark using David Dickinson's wardrobe. Less is more, Sean. “A man should look as if he’s bought his clothes with intelligence, put them on with care and then forgotten all about them" - Hardy Amies

Fuck me. There's some fools on here.
This company has chosen to support out team. It has also paid more than anyone else for the privilege.
I couldn't care if they paid £250,000 and just wanted to stick a cartoon cock on the shirts. The club obviously decided that it was a good offer, therefore thank you very much.

I disagree with that, money is not everything. The club claims "integrity". Would you like them to be sponsored by someone or something not savoury?

I 'get' the sponsorship stuff..and realise it's a vital source of income for the club...and it's Sean Jarvis's job to maximise this. He told me once his target set by Dean was £1m ..and that this bar would be raised when he got there. But....it has to blend in with the traditions of the club, the traditions of our kit , not the other way round. if you kit the players out in pale blue and lemon (for example) then this, for me, detracts from the traditions of the club. Sponsors should have to work around our traditions, not the other way round. So, let's have our proper colours back and let us play in them home and away whenever we can. If we have a colour clash okay, but otherwise...it's the traditional blue and white stripes please.

As always happy to chat about this either one to one or at one of the forums I attend. 9 years of commercial growth must mean we are doing something right ;-) For the record I am a big traditionalist too ;-)

Sponsor is far too big on this year's shirt, or at least the padding.
Someone should send that mockup above to the club, it's a stunner.

Pure Legal could still have the same size logo.

My beef about a permanent away kit probably puts me in a minority, but in the 'olden days' ....... it was always blue and white stripes unless a clash of colours. Even Man Utd play in red away from home whenever they can..maybe they get extra from the sponsors for that...? I do wonder though who actually decides on the home strip, and why it is the fans do not seem to be involved in the decision making process..

I'm assuming you are asking for research purposes.. As you will know I wrote that post in July 2015 so have slept since then . I have also been through intense counselling to cure my pornography addiction... I am currently at the "letting go" stage so if there is anything you are interested in you can have it .. Just let me know.. Yours Mr Chips
