True. Arfield (HTFC version, never mind Burnley version) was better than Beresford!

Strange, I never rated Trevitt. (although that may partly be due to him always acting like a dick whenever I saw him and the other players my age out around town eg Mazza and Iwan) Sent from my SM-G900F using proboards

Jenkins over Trevitt for me. Hunt is a completely different style of back, probably more suited to the modern game, but he needs excellent full backs/midfield cover dropping back. Humble opinion etc.

You're picking teams in the school playground, you know the one where the shit lad gets left to the end, anyway, you pick Hunt before Smith every time. If Antonio is on the other team - I know who I'd pick.

Interesting that no one ever managed to turn him into a wing back - his more natural position. I think Grayson even put him half way up the wing in front of Woods (at Watford maybe) - Grayson canned shortly afterwards! What always puzzled me about him was that he was great at using his pace going forwards - but never seemed to use it defensively. I think he ballsed up by forcing the move - we moved to wing-backs around that time & he'd have gone from strength to strength imo. I agree - all that time Hammill played wingback (and did a pretty decent job of it) - shame it wasn't Hunt.

I for one did not wish to see him leave HTFC. Pity the player did not at least get the chance to show what he can do in the Premiership.
Still like to see him in a Town shirt.
