You need to go for a decent hold up striker if you're playing three attackers behind or else the ball won't stick. Wells should be used as an impact sub.

Well, that's one problem we've solved then!! That's exactly what I was thinking, maybe butterfield was too quick or clever for wells. What we need is someone who points or states where the ball is going to be put.. I think they have to share responsibility

A bit like smithies used to do from dead balls , that'll fox em.
