Be interesting to see what excuse people come up with for not attending this one. I would guess it being on Sky, as the obvious ones about it being a night game or an unattractive opposition don't apply.

Yep... some won't even bother to come at that price. But you can bet your bottom dollar they'll still moan at how we played!!!

Need to get tickets in advance and can't make it to the stadium and don't have access to a phone or the Internet.

I was able to use my Take 10 card and paid £14 for my ticket. Given that when they sold the Take 10 cards it was supposed to apply for all home league games, I'm surprised that they've said it doesn't for this one.

No doubt the said few will want it even lower, but in reality will not come to watch anyway! All for lower prices even though I am a long standing season ticket holder but many on here just peeve me off with the excuses they dream up not to attend.

Forest £15, MK Dons £10, Leeds £20 and am sure more offers to come. Will have to think seriously about renewing my season ticket next year with these sorts of offers!

Seriously - The club have thrown the gauntlet down now - £20 for what is on paper our biggest game of the season (local rivals etc), if people don't attend this one then I think it is fair to say they are all bluff and would not attend - whatever the price. And for those who say they can watch it on SKY there is no comparison in atmosphere between the telly and actually being there. Its like watching "A Place In The Sun" on telly because it is cheaper (free) then going on holiday.

And you are precisely why the club has to be very careful with the offers it runs. Not just as simple as proving the process for a sustained period as some are suggesting. Personally I couldn't give a shit that some folk are getting in cheaply but that's me. Can't wait to hear the excuses that come out from the fair weathered for not attending the Leeds match. Sent from my GT-I9505 using proboards

Seems to me, the only ones moaning on here are those moaning that some fans still might not go, a totally unknown factor as yet, but hey, don't let me stop you all moaning about them...jeez when is this 'I'm a better fan than you' stuff going to end ?
that's my 'moan' over :-)

Or they run a club which will be full of armchair leeds fans watching the game on Sky and excited youngsters later on because of big bonfires nearby so they haven't a cat in hells chance of getting the day off. Just getting mine in early.

The club are trying though so it would be good if the floaters did respond to offers like this but time will tell.

Some of us have a thousand mile round trip, so the cost of the ticket is irrelevant when you take everything into account. I'll be watching this one on Sky but hope to make full use of my Take 10 card before the season's out. I have to applaud the club on this initiative but would like them to try a few consecutive Saturday games (non televised) at £20 to see if they can boost attendances on a regular basis.

I get that Melc, but I don't get fans having a pop already that some fans will still moan, when no one has in fact moaned - it just comes across like 'they' think they are some kind of elite fan and all the casuals aren't proper fans..well that's how it looks to me anyway - casual fans have to pay almost twice as much as a SC holder normally. Let's hope this great move by Town will encourage many more to come down though, at £20 and £15 for a senior there's no excuse not to go (apart from it being on Sky that is...)

You gonna tell me that isn't going to happen? 'Cos it happens on here every week!!!

Take 10 is a very good initiative and gently pushes me to probably see more home games than the 350 mile trip would merit. I think they need to be using the £20 initiative on the less attractive matches - they are going to get a decent attendance for Leeds anyway + the TV dosh. MK Dons on a Tuesday night for example.

Hudd Town season ticket holders mentioned on today's Pointless. There's an obvious pun right there that I'll leave for Nick.

Sent from my GT-I9505 using proboards I don't give a shit if other people get in cheaper either. I pay for my season ticket regardless of any future offers. To be honest I would rather be in a bigger crowd, even if a fair proportion have paid less than me, than a crap crowd made up of season ticket holders who have paid the same/similar price as me. It took me and my dad years of gradually moving forward to get our seats two rows back in the Riverside Upper and now there's more empty seats than those taken. The club can have as many offers as they want if it gets folk in to watch Town. Well done Dean and the board.

It's a great offer by town, £20 is plenty. Last season town fans came in big numbers it's just a shame that the players let us all down.
