This was always going to happen. Plenty of positives from that first half to build on. The work has hardly begun. Best to turn off the radio and not listen to that Jones bloke stirring it.

We're not going to win every game, and so if there's an opportunity of taking positives from the inevitable losses we will be subject to, we have to take them. Things will improve |

Blame has to start to be laid at the door of the players I'm afraid. The coaches, whoever they are, can set them up to play anyway you want, but if they are only bothered about doing it for 45 minutes we won't achieve anything at all. Only town can have a game in the palm of their hands and lose comfortably, the whole mentality of the club has to change, hopefully Wagner can do that in the long term but I do worry short term. The fitness and concentration levels aren't good enough to play any style of football for 90 mins which is a big worry as you don't get a way with it in this league.

We played Dempsey at left back. Best centre back injured. Two strikers out. Paterson out. Davidson out. First game in a totally new system and we pushed a very strong Wednesday side all the way. Plenty to be positive about.

Did well up to the last 15 mins. Wednesday started to lump it forwards and we couldn't cope. They had run out of ideas up to that point.
Key moment was the save from Huws. Had we gone 2-0 up we'd have won.
A work in progress but we will get there!

I have to say I've seen nothing of Lolley to suggest he is anywhere near good enough for this level and as I've said before, Robins didn't think he was good enough for his Scunthorpe side either. One trick pony who will not be allowed that luxury from defenders in this league. Hope Wagner finds something in him but judging from what I've seen it'll take a hell of a lot of work. |

How manys he scored ? And by regular basis I meant he does it a lot when he plays he loses possession because he thinks he can take the whole chuffing team on lad should have learnt by now when to give the ball and yes I still think he's not good enough if he was he would have done a lot better at scunthorpe agree to disagree I guess

Since the window shut I've been looking at any point picked up until January as a bonus because of the situation we've left ourselves in up front. I'm delighted we've been forward-thinking enough to take the change of approach but really I still feel the same way and none of that is Wagner's fault at all, it's just what he's been left to work with. Hopefully we can sort a loan out because I think it'll continue to be a real uphill struggle otherwise, even if we do everything else right.
I couldn't help but wonder if we'd had a look at Vaz Te when Charlton picked him up on a free last week until the end of the season.

Need points on the board very quickly now. At the very least we need 25 points going into new year. We're well below our expected 15th or above finish. Time to bring one or two in and hopefully a few wins very soon
