No way will you go down, I thought you showed spirit and were very hardworking but you just lack a bit of quality. We were below par for a large part of the game imo, second half we got better especially in the last quarter. The ref was shite. Your new manager looks like a chav with his bright blue cap on though. Leeds will go down

This is the biggest listed building in Europe, some of it has been renovated into luxury flats already.

I briefly lived on Park Hill Road in the 90's, when you walked past those flats there would often be soiled nappies flying out of the windows! It was a contrast to when I was working in Sheffield 5 years ago and they had stripped down the whole complex to a basic concrete/steel structure and they seemed to be slotting in these multi-coloured prefab flats like giant lego pieces. Public housing getting turned into "luxury flats" is a disease of late period capitalism imo. But tbf there is still something iconic about the Park Hill flats, in a similar way that the ugly arsed Central Offices building in Barnsley (that was demolished last week) was also sort of iconic.

There is very few examples of this kind of public housing in Britain, leading to the buildings iconic status. The problem is that it is probably too big for a full luxury flat conversion and would be put to better use with a mixed conversion, students, lower spec conversion and dare I say it, social housing.

Where there is muck there is brass. I once worked Sheffield for a Week with an old insurance company i was S/E through. Park Hill was my patch. What a week, earned enough to have 3 months off.

Your right about the ref but at least he was shite for both sides. Surprisingly, DW said he was happy with the ref on Saturday. Perhaps they are even worse in Germany.
