Nothing by Town will ever beat Runaway at Griffin Park on a playoff evening I remember us Town fans singing at half time when this came on (great tune btw). Was it done to try drown us out? For those of us too young to know what was happening in that era - what song is this? and a reminder of the night in question - STILL the best Town match i've attended some 20+ years later. Cheers Doc, I was about 4 when this happened but that video still gives me goosebumps! Must of been the best night ever! Another favourite of mine is 'Mezut Ozil, His eyes are offside.' I remember singing it & not having the faintest clue why (& not really caring either). Singing at the top of my voice & not being able to hear my own voice because it was so loud in the bottom tier. That was my favourite season as a town fan, and Brentford away in the playoffs was the best game of that season. |
