Can't beat the away end at Town belting out a song to get a reaction from the home fans. For me I still miss the Port Vale fans with the old "boom boom boom, let me hear you say Vale" The Birmingham lot used to impress with "keep right on" although I didn't hear it once last week I will give the Stoke lot a bit of credit too Can you tell I'm bored ?

Stoke Delilah is a corker when they all sing it probably up there with the loudest I've heard at town.

Brum and Stoke both good. I like Goodnight Irene (Bristol Rovers), Blaydon Races (Sunderland and Newcastle both have versions). That Sheffield United "come fill me again" song is class. The Pompey Chimes has always rung out loud at Town. City's Blue Moon. West Brom and that bizarre boing boing Baggie pogoing.

How very odd. Only yesterday i told a story of when i was coaching a ladies football team in Sweden. For bonding i introduced the chant "boom, boom, boom, let me hear you say Lidhult"! Never knew the Vale pinched it too. My girls loved it

I quite liked the Middlesbrough Aitor Karanka (sp???) song
As for Town I remember being at Millmoor in the 1980's and we were really hitting 'Boot Upside your head'

Some of our songs have been good. Loved "The towel is ours" away at Sheff Wednesday.

Nothing by Town will ever beat Runaway at Griffin Park on a playoff evening When I think of that I wonder why we still aren't belting it out to this day. In some respects I blame the clubs pre-match entertainment as they are always changing the songs they play every season and never keep the those songs going to remind folk. We should ask Tog to get them played to get it in people's head again.

"We can see you sneaking out" (when I'm sneaking out) is a real pisser for me .. Thought that derby song whilst they were bouncing up and down both looked and sounded quite impressive..

"We are Leeds, we are Leeds, we are Leeds."
The poetry and prose should not be underestimated. In perspective, it is quite an achievement for a bunch of Neanderthals.

"Raa raa raa we're gonna smash the oiks" when Boston took the lead against us via Neil Redfearn.

I quite liked the Middlesbrough Aitor Karanka (sp???) song As for Town I remember being at Millmoor in the 1980's and we were really hitting 'Boot Upside your head' August 1980, first game of the season after being promoted, away at Chesterfield. Being marched up to the ground after getting off the special, seemed like everybody chanting "Boots Upside your Head". Locals looked suitably impressed.

Stoke Delilah is a corker when they all sing it probably up there with the loudest I've heard at town. I always remember beating them 2-1 at the Britannia in a relegation six-pointer when they had Chris Kamara as manager. He got a lot of abuse, obviously ("cheer up Chris Kamara ... sad Bradford bastard ..."), but the highlight for me was the away end singing "why, why, why d'you bother?" to the Delilah tune. Great day out!

Nothing by Town will ever beat Runaway at Griffin Park on a playoff evening For those of us too young to know what was happening in that era - what song is this? and a reminder of the night in question - STILL the best Town match i've attended some 20+ years later. You can see the eejits that loved the song and made the night so special.

My favourite of another club was Hibs singing at Hearts "if you tolerate Rix, then your children will be next".

Another favourite of mine is 'Mezut Ozil, His eyes are offside.' Sung by Tottenham fans!
