Am I right in thinking, JL is under contract, and a fee is involved, so he can't officially move until the transfer window is opened on July 1st?

Depends what you mean by 'officially'. they will announce it as soon as completed, regardless of transfer window. Transfer window not being open doesnt prevent clubs announcing deals - it's just the window in which the signings are sealed by the FL

I heard that Lynch has wanted to move for 6 months and that he got caught taking the piss out of Wagner. Calling him a "Stupid German" in his accent. That's come from an ex player.

I would imagine that the deal is between the two clubs and binding regardless of FL clearance (obviously they make sure there will be no problems in getting clearance in advance)..so once paper work is signed the deal is finalised. What difference would the potential for him to be in a freak accident make to them announcing it before transfer window??? he could break his legs the fist day of the transfer window and they would be in the exact same situation But I could be wrong

If they buy him then the contract Lynch had with town ceases to exist......i think it's only a problem when a player will become a free agent and no fee is involved....the player will be contracted to that club until his contract runs out so,for instance,Whitehead wasn't officially a town player until his contract at Boro had run out.

I don't think that is correct at all. Only players out of contract can move between transfer windows. Lynch can't officially sign for QPR until July 1st.

The fee for Lynch.. £750,000 going up to £1.2 million potentially. According to West London Sport and Brent and Kilburn Times. Could be bull but who knows. Add ons due to appearances perhaps, given his injury prone luck.

Yes,i think you might be right and i wrong.....the way i "tried" to explain it has more common sense, the transfer window should start as soon as the season ends and not on July 1st would,to me make more sense. How come we can announce all our signings?.....is it because they are from abroad? Payne and Coleman?.....seems pisspotical to me!!

Liverpool announced the signing of Mane today, surely that answers your question Is he from another English club? Tommy Elphick, moved to Villa while still under contract and announced before Friday, so proves the point you don't have to wait until July 1st to announce deals!

Good example. But there's a few more nearer to home that might have proved the point too unless we've forgotten the European (and Payne) influx over the past few weeks
