I think he might be the best player I've seen in a Town shirt, I can't remember enjoying watching a midfielder as much as this guy. Oozes class and dictates the game with such ease, first half he was everywhere and had their midfield chasing shadows. Just another reason why it's great to be a Town fan at the moment.

He is definitely the best central midfielder I have ever seen play for Town, he is an outstanding player

Was most to blame for the goal we conceded tonight I reckon.
Hasn't quite returned to the heights he was at before the international break in my opinion.

He's a joy to watch. First half today he played like Pirlo. He has a first touch that takes him away from players and when he passes he puts the team on the front foot....he gave it away twice today though...
If have given him a breather last 20 tonight. If he stays fit we could be promotion material.

We have decent options, but it must just be hard resting someone who"s that good.

Last year it was Clayton/Leadbitter. Mooy manages his own game well...doesn't waste energy. You'd have to worry about a full season alongside how many 24 hr flights though.

He wouldn't get in ahead of Alli, dier, Wanyama at Spurs. Saints and Everton have £10M players in their midfields. His lack of pace would count against him a the very highest level imo, but he has a wonderful all round game no doubt.

I've no idea who's team in the PL he'd get into but he is premier league quality no doubt about it and the best centre midfielder I've seen play for town ever in the last thirty odd years. An absolute joy to watch. Says something when you come away from a game where he's made about a hundred passes and you can remember the two that didn't find their man! Makes it look easy, amazing player. Sent from my SM-G920F using proboards

Proper grafter with a happy knack of scoring goals in the box. Ridiculously good capture by Wag.

That was my gut reaction on the goal, he switched off and was turned like a schoolboy. Danny Ward agrees with me. If you think he's performed BETTER since the international breakthan the two or three weeks prior then you're wrong. That's not to say he had a bad game, far from it.

This guy is quality.
However, when he's controlling things in the attacking third sometimes has a tendency to come back out if the killer pass isn't on. This isn't a bad thing as he clearly wants to hold possession and reload the attack . Unfortunately some of our front line don't react as quickly having made a run for him the first time round and need to reset the, selves with him. His speed of thought is a bit too good for em sometimes!

Aaron Mooy made 104 passes against Rotherham last night.
The away side's entire midfield quartet only managed a total of 96.
