Did he do a single thing wrong today? I can't remember it if he did. Pure class
Lets offer City £5 million in January and see what response we get

Was quieter in the 1st half as we were more direct at times and didn't seem to play through him as much. When the game got stretched in the 2nd - pure quality!!

Pure class Lets offer City £5 million in January and see what response we get Yeah he gave the ball directly to a Bristol player three times in a row. Otherwise pretty good, I like he seems to play with more fluidity back to front now, lost a bit of faith of him whilst he played the Hogg role for 2 months.

So...£5m for Mooy and €25m for Uth.
I guess we're not strengthening the defence then?!

Hoyle has watched him for 6 months and seen first hand just how good he is. He's still fairly young and it should be looked at as a long term investment which will make us money one way or another

I've changed my mind after today*. I get it now! I thought he was okay before, but nothing special. He was superb today, not only class when he had the ball but working hard, chasing back to win the ball when he didn't have it.
*That's the sixth game I've seen (including TV) and we've lost all the others, which may explain some of my harsh comments on some of the lads. Will see Norwich on telly next Friday, then back for the Forest and Blackburn games over Xmas.

An absolute joy to watch. Oozes class and wouldn't be out of place in a 6-12th placed side in the premier league.

So after a year proving himself at top of championship he's going to be £10M of anyone's money in the current market. Very accomplished all round modern midfielder with set pieces and goals in his game. No way they'd sell to us right now and certainly not for a loss! Man City could've done with him today with Fernandinho out.

Been watching since 81/82 so seen mainly crap with the odd belter along the way, Stewart being my previous best, but Mooy now looks like the best footballer I've seen in a Town shirt. Seems to have more time on the ball than anyone else, the mark of a class player.

Did he do a single thing wrong today? I can't remember it if he did. Pure class Lets offer City £5 million in January and see what response we get Yes. He gave the ball away twice...and then won it straight back. The best player I have seen in a Town shirt. His spacial awareness is unbelievable. No chance at 5m though. They signed him for more than that. I'd be amazed if top flight teams weren't looking at him, and if they are we have little chance unfortunately.

What a player, I can only see him getting better and better as the season goes on. Easily the best midfielder I've seen in a town shirt, pure class.

I'm afraid the bloke is class except for granny gloves. He can wear what he wants! What a player, absolute magician. Best town player I've ever seen. As others have said his vision and awareness make it look like he's in a different dimension with three times the thinking time of any other player on the pitch! Have to pinch myself watching this team sometimes, come an awful long way. Some of the football is breath taking imo, just a shame we're not scoring as many goals as we should but hopefully that will come. Sent from my SM-G920F using proboards

I love watching Mooy, probably the best midfielder I've ever seen in a Town shirt, his ability is stupendous at times, as many say he knows what he's going to do before he recieves the ball, his heads always up and looking around himself, beautiful passing, able to put a foot in too and an eye for goal - though we haven't seen enough of this.
But does anyone know if the season long loan to us can be broken by someone putting in a bid for him to Man City in the January transfer window? Id be devastated if they could. Most important player to us.

How the hell are we going to replace this guy next season? I'm depressed already. Billing needs to spend as much time with Mooy in training and watching him play. We won't see the likes of Mooy any time soon again sadly I don't think, but it's great to have many game left to enjoy watching him conduct. One things for sure it's gonna be one hell of highlights DVD for Aaron come awards night.

The way he is flourishing at our club I can only imagine that we will be a desired destination for some of the PL giants to loan their players in the future. I guess we can only hope that City's next 5 million pound player has bit more pace

Gave the ball away a few times yesterday but he's set a very high standard for himself! Top player and one we're very lucky to have this season

Most important player to us. A season long loan with no recall option, therefore even if City were to take him back he couldn't play for anyone else for the remainder of this season. I pointed out on another post Alex Ferguson did just that with players he loaned out to Preston. When they sacked his son he recalled them, they then had no option but to sit out the rest of the season twiddling their thumbs.

Only 3 players have completed more than 1,000 accurate passes this season:
- Mooy (1,179) - Hogg (1,064) - Cairney (1,018)
Surprised about Hogg to be honest.
