might be bruising but Reading 1 up already. Newcastle 2 up on Wolves - how ironic is that another sending off for Reading Blackett

Lets hope its a bruising encounter Reading have with Brighton tonight, extra time, 2 pulled hamstrings and a sending off Reading down to ten men, Blackett sent off.

They were playing well by all accounts.
Suppose we were when we had Hogg sent off last year.

That's one of Readings main defenders out, think he's their left back, lets get Kachunga to give their back up left back a torrid time on Saturday.

We will have to watch out for John Swift, that's 2 long range goals he's banged in, 1 at Barnsley and 1 tonight.

According to the Reading twitter, the centre back Moore looks to have picked up a knock and is replaced by Gunter.

On a similar theme - just spent 60 minutes watching Loftus-Cheek. Different quality of opposition - but Casy Palmer looks better quality.

Perhaps, but Blackett and McCleary definitely are major players and they'll both be out on Saturday.

Probably didn't play Williams because he already has 4 yellow cards this season, shame another one tonight would have been a bonus!

The key is to make sure Reading keep 11 on the pitch by the looks of it.

Just a BIT nervous about this weekend's game, we have gone to Reading before thinking that anything we got would be good; a good performance would buoy us up, a point would be great, and a win...well!!
But this season is different, we go to Reading, possibly as slight favourites, and the pressure is on to get a result. A win is vital to keep our run going, a point, while disappointing, would be OK, but a loss would mean probably surrendering our position at the top of the table.
How times change - bring. it. on.

The key is to make sure Reading keep 11 on the pitch by the looks of it. Same key for us! Wonder if Jaap Staam is registered to play - he certainly seems to have toughened them up! I think Reding will be a stern challenge on Saturday - not quite up to the level of Brighton though - who fielded a different 11 last night than the one that turned out against us.

Around 1000 sold so far and it's pay on the day so looks like another decent following.

Talk about getting carried away. You've started well but many team have, including Barnsley and we beat them comfortably with 10 men.
You'll drop back down the league as the season goes on I'm sure. We'll beat you 2-0.
We are developing into a very good side.
Reading 2 Real Madrid of the North 0

Reading 2 Real Madrid of the North 0 nobody is getting carried away.. we have developed from the first week of the off season.. but nobody at the club goes to Reading with any notions of anything other than another championship match.. unlike yourself I make no predictions other than if we continue as we are, we will be very hard to beat.

You've shot your load too early IMO. We have gradually improved all season although the season is very young.
We have had an extremely tough start and are only three points off second. If we had your start and you had ours I'm sure we would be above you.
Calm down. Still very early.
