In the last 15 years Two Championship titles 3 prem seasons 1 2nd division promotion 4 FA cup Quarters 1 FA Cup Semi 1 championship playoff final 1 record points total Clubs evolve, you haven't and we have. See you Saturday, see you're bring a half decent number for once. So you have won the 2nd division twice that's your history? Have you won the top flight topflight? Any FA Cups? No didn't think so.

And Huddersfield are huge? You're just another dreary northern outpost club like Preston, Blackpool and Wigan. We are a far more successful club. Is this a joke? You've never won a top flight title, never won an FA cup, and never won a league Cup. I suggest you do your research before making bullshit comments When football was still young. You have found your level on the last God knows how many years.

In reply to the last 15 years. Two Championship titles - fair enough, you can add this to your long list of club honours. 3 prem seasons - this is not an Club honour – you are starting to struggle now aren’t you. 1 2nd division promotion - well done so have we. 4 FA cup Quarters - again not an Club honour 1 FA Cup Semi - again not an Club honour 1 championship playoff final - I am presuming you lost this - again not an Club honour 1 record points total - AGAIN - NOT A CLUB HONOUR!!!!!!! Top flight ( name says it all really ) you really are setting yourself for a big fall this weekend. Town have had a really tough start to this campaign and nobody is getting carried away however we are certainly enjoying it – and why shouldn’t we? Again I am not sure you are talking from a position of strength like all the others who tend to come on here and give it the big un. I could understand this from a team with a degree of history but Reading – really?? Now run along fella and go and rekindle your rivalry with Aldershot!!!

Really? Most seem to think they'll 'batter' us. LOL. We reading the same thread? They playing at home so yea they think they can get a win and i think it be a close game. "This Top Flight believes that Huddersfield are a good team and should be treated with the respect that their league position deserves." "won't be easy to keep them out but I am confident we can beat them!" "They have a bloody good side at the mo too. Let's leave the petty infighting to the likes of Barcelona & Hove Albion." Seem a good bunch to me.

I love the fact his name on here is topflight18, as though he's trying to use his name to say "hey look, we're a big club, we've been in the PL". Ultimately they're a dull, uninteresting team that nobody is bothered about. People don't look forward to playing them or visiting their ground or the general area, and to be honest they're a bit like Fulham and Charlton....small clubs that nobody cares about. Certainly don't think anyone would notice if they suddenly ceased to exist.
Still, nice to know he has the time to come and amuse us with his comments. Must be bored if he decided to register on here. Think he needs to remember what club honours are though.......next he'll be saying "our biggest club honour is that we scored 2 goals away from home in the 2nd half against Coventry in Division 2 in 1947"

Every club has their village idiot, seems we have encountered theirs today. Hes a WUM, and I think it worked. Or another way to look at it is he is a young man and in his time as a Reading fan they have done better than Town. And this is a reasoned point from someone who lives in Reading but travels to every Town game and has watched them in division 1 ( now premier) who is proud of what we have achieved in our History but wants to live in the future not the past.

Yes you too are looking like a good side this season, you did well to win at Brighton but the difference is we really are the real deal sunshine. Anything can happen in football you could have your own ref again like last season at the John Smiths but i dont think too many Town fans will be worried by Reading this season when there are far more classier teams to watch out for. Get yourself over to Leeds utd's board like you they are ecstatic after a few wins you will be in good company.
Make sure you come back saturday night wont you whatever the result.

Reading will be a tough gig, pretty sure we'll be as up for it as we need to be...
As for the WUM, maybe it's just a by-product of being top of the pile (unexpectedly so)?
To be fair there's only a small number of opposing fans on WUM duty, Caskey re-surfaced the other day, Operation Pig & Buzz will return soon no doubt.
Then there's that Claret bloke from Burnley and the nutter from Bolton.
I think we do pretty well in having so few on here... Marsh Leeds and Bilo offer a decent counter balance...

What a pillock. Have we sold out the tickets yet? We've sold 1,100 so far reckon we'll take about 1,500 which isn't bad. £20 tickets so well done to Reading for that. You know this Reading fan was fishing and you've all bitten and made his day. Every week we seem to be doing a lot of online research and digging to find people calling us 'small time' and then taking offence to it. Does it really matter? We've done the square root of Jack shit in 40 years thats nobody sees us as big team and why they don't think we're real contenders for promotion. Eight games is all we've played, lets not get on our high horses because when we've done it in the past (remember Old Trafford 2011) we end up looking stupid.

Positive, positive, positive thinking!
90 mins on a warm day (21'c predicted) will see us win 2:0
Reading fans are fishing.......let's not rise to the bait.
Forget OT 2011, this is now and other teams are not surprised.
Biggest challenge? Keeping Mr W in the hot seat! Where there is smoke......!
