Bauer, Stoke's recently signed full back has looked the part when I've seen him. Presumably he'll want to move on?

Don’t know if he can make the step up but love watching martin Rodriguez in Liga Mx. Seems like the type that we like to loan with an option to buy. Can play on the wings and has incredible pace.

The best player(s) we sign will be the ones that virtually no fucker has heard of, and will have never played in this country.

I aint fussed who we sign, but I wouldn't like wholesale changes. A few quality additions to improve on what have been automatic starters up to this point, and ideally some pace added to the team. If we do that, and they settle, then there's no reason whatsoever we can't look to survive earlier than we have this season.

For me we need 2 new wingers and we are in need of pace in the side. If we are going to play a backs to the wall, counter attacking formation then we need the pace to expose the attacking side.
Our defence has worked miracles so I would be concentrating efforts on establishing a potent attack.

Kongolo is a must attempt to sign, is he Ken monkous love child? We probably need two defensive mids to help hoggy out and then a quality left winger to put vlp under pressure. I reckon having released Whitehead lolley and 1 other we can bring those 3 with no outgoings. Scanners will leave. I'm not sure dw thinks billing is up to it.
The main challenge this year looks to have been balance throughout the squad.
Considering we took in 100m and spent 78m including clearing 26m debt and now have another guaranteed 185m I think we can trust dw and the club to get it right.
1st signing dw contract extension and double his salary.

Whatever it takes to seriously put a bigger dent in the 'goals scored' column. We can defend, up to a point (always room to improve anywhere though) but whoever is defending will have less pressure if we stick it away a bit more often up the other end. Schindler said as much last night after the game and he's not wrong.

Hopefully not - it will encourage that bagpiper to blow even harder. I hate that noise on the way to the ground.

Burke done nowt this season, neither has Choupo Moting and he’s nearly 30. Shawcross will be on a lot of money and is he better than Schindler or Zanka? Ok 😂

Clubs get access to that second wad of cash and then try to bring in too many players, which can destabilise what served you well year 1.

Whoever we sign needs to buy into our team ethic and needs to be able to cope with the physicality of the prem. Players like Ince, Malone, Mounié, Quaner and VLP, whatever their merits, are not strong enough in the challenge nor resilient enough for the prem though they are good club men who have bought into the Wagner way. Defensively, we have conceded a similar number of goals to most of the bottom 13 but we have scored notably fewer than most of the bottom half teams. We need players who are able to retain possession even under a strong press and players who can provide a real outlet and goal scoring threat when we break.

Never forget though that we have succeeded in remaining a PL team with THIS squad. Over the season we have also suffered some injuries to key players who if fit could well have helped us achieve a higher position within the league. An often heard expression this season is that we didn't have any players with PL experience. Well we do now and I would hope that throughout this season those players have learnt quite a lot of what it takes to play in the top tier. This summer will certainly be interesting in seeing the turnover of players.

I wouldn't expect the number we brought in last season, it's now about adding quality. Gotta be careful we don't unpick the character of the squad

We need two quality wingers and a quality midfielder. I'd sign Kongolo too and maybe another striker.
We've stayed up by the skin of our teeth this time so we need to make sure we don'the find ourself in this situation again if we can.

For me we go for the best quality players we can afford
Two new wingers please or maybe 3 if I am being greedy Attempt to sign Kongolo Keeper on loan
Outgoings and with thanks: Quanner RVLP Scannell Whitehead to coaching Payne (regretfully) Coleman on loan to a good Quality Championship side for experience If Stankovic goes on loan then we need a further Centre back in for the season
