The real truth is that Leeds are, in the minds of many of those outside of Yorkshire, actually Yorkshires biggest team. Ask any supporters of the top premiership clubs who they want back in the Premiership and the majority, especially among older supporters, will say Leeds. Every body likes to beat Leeds.

Saw the Dam United on tele over the weekend. Loved it when Brian Clough was told by the Leeds board he was sacked and so he made his severance demands to them, oh and the car, I've grown to like the Mercedes! Who the hell do you think you are??
Me? I'm Brian Clough!

Ask any of the top 6 teams supporters who they want to watch their team play. You'd be lucky to get 1 in a 100 to say Huddersfield Town.. Leeds are a big draw... even today after a generation of doing bugger all... everybody hates them... people are, at the moment, very sympathetic to 'little old Huddersfield' (and by the way just where is it on the map they're still saying). Another year of 9 men behind the ball and the rest of the premiership fans will be wanting rid.

Rubbish Leeds are a club in decline, we fill our stadium every home game which is good for a town with 5 times less population than Leeds, the support in Leeds is very poor for the size of the city, Manchester, Sheffield have 2 clubs and Leeds have 1 and boast about 30,000 gates that’s shite. Town are a club on the up and growing fast all the new footy supporters in, Dewsbury, Wakefield, Halifax will want premier league footy this is why if we stay then we will extend the stadium and totally out grow Leeds, all this big club talk is going to byte you in the arse over the next few years because the town are on the verge of out growning the scum.

Sorry to piss you off but, as a Town fan, I totally agree. Same for Sheff Utd, Hull and Wednesday... We got v.lucky. Boro' might make a fist of it depending on signings.

Better quality, better fitness heck of a lot more to play for, Leeds need to accept there level a bottom end championship side in decline don’t think it will be long off before they see league 1.

'everyone wants to beat Leeds'??
everyone who is anyone has already done so, regularly...
suspect that if you ask the foreign players at the top 6 and some, to point to Leeds on the map, they would #fail...
big fish in the small pond at the bottom half of the championship or small fish in the bottom half of the biggest league in the world???
rhetorical question...
the support making significantly more 'noise' than the club and the team is bordering on sad..
another season or so and leeds will be an 'average' sized championship team given those who are ending up there.. think the other supporters will be looking for the stoke game and the WBA game, leeds are old hat..

It's now pretty simple.
L..ds are an average to lower championship side.
If I were their supporters I'd be more worried about the possibility of them ending next season in league one.....again.
They're a bit thick though when it comes to trying to wind town fans up and irony.

You'd think it was still the Don Revie era the way some of these tools talk. Don was a great manager and a top bloke...Leeds poisoned him.. Gary Monk wasn't a bad lad until?? most of em, players and all were not utter twats till they became infected with the 'should be, ought to be' virus... I blame the fans..

That's brilliant! Some fuckwit Leeds fan posing as a town fan comes on here giving it the 'negative town' bollocks reads this thread, loses his shit & basically admits he's a Leeds fan.. The best thing is, he came on here to wind us up & couldn't hack it.. What a clown 😃
