Hope he does well.
However, it’s an odd signing. His form over the past 2 years indicates he’s not going to transform us or be the star player who makes us click. Similarly, he’s only with us until June so isn’t going to help us build for the future.
All seems a little pointless TBH.

We might as well face it, we just haven't got the financial clout to compete in this league. If Puncheon is the best we can do it's time to start preparing for the Championship.

puncheon, good god, I was hoping for something a little more inspiring, if that is a sign of our intention to stay in this league `I am afraid it is all over. Mr Hoyle please do yourself a favour and save your money.

Hoyle: "I'm not going to allow us to sleepwalk into relegation"
Fans: "nice one deano, fighting talk"
Transfer: Jason puncheon.
Deary, deary me.

What the fuck is out DOF doing?
No Fucking wonder he was sacked after leaving Wolfsburg in the relegation zone.

This signing hasn't come through our scouting.
It's come through puncheons agent whoring him out to any club that'll take him.

He has a goal in him. He’s proven at this level. If he’s fit and hungry to play he’ll be someone who can make an impact imo.

Why don't we just recall O'brien and give him some games and look to the future rather than embarrass ourselves further? Fucking Puncheon. I give up.

Nothing like DATM to write off a player before he's even started sat on the bench trained held the shirt signed!

Get ready for a masterclass in receiving the ball, turning 360 degrees with it and passing it back where it came from, only with the original player under more pressure.
He might surprise me (and a lot of other Palace fans) and be able to do a good job for you, but his time was up with us a long time ago IMO.

Puncheon was good 5 years ago. Shows how far we've come to be fair, we used to sign players who were passable 10 years ago.

He's scored more PL goals than the rest of our squad's midfielders and attackers added together. Hell's bells - we sign prospects in Diakhaby, Mbenza and Bacuna and the recruitment is blasted as a joke, we need PL experience was the cry and it looks like we are trying to get it and STILL folk complain. Damned if you do and damned if you don't. It would be nice to actually judge him on his performances for Town but that might be too much to ask.

Might as well give this loan a go to see if he's worth signing up for the Championship next season. He might be an improvement on Ismail Miller?

He's not one for giving our honmegrown yougesters a go (Billing excepted) no matter how much potential they have. I've not seen O'Brien but Bradford fans have been raving about him. Also Jack Payne, whilst maybe not PL standard (yet), is certainly no worse than the likes of Sabiri, Bacuna, Diakhaby, Sobhi etc.

Well we're bottom of the league on 10 points, and 8 points from safety. 13 goals scored and not scored more than one in a game since wolves. We are nose diving towards the championship and looks like my hated rivals, Leeds, will take our place just to rub it in. Our signings have been extremely poor and after a rallying message from our chairman, the underwhelming signings continue. But other than that... I'm top of the world.
