He's not seemed happy in his press conferences for a while mind you. Will be missed and remembered for everything he did

Absolutely gutted. Looks like the keyboard ‘warriors’ got their way. Intolerable pressure from some of our supposed supporters on the poor fella who only ever gave his all. I don't think DATM had quite reached the heights of the fly by banners or weekly protests outside the stadium.. Jesus... He was paid handsomely for a job he loved. Perspective works both ways. Whatever is going on in his life that made him leave, he goes with his head held high. But don't expect blind faith for what's occurred in the last 12 months from other people and come on here being sanctimonious about your 'level of support' There's no statue of Paul Jewell outside Wigan and Bradford. Town are still here. We going again

Gutted. He is a legend of Huddersfield. Never in my lifetime did I think I'd see us in the Prem.
Give him the freedom of the town

Do we give more credence from this post last night from brickthespecial, now: I heard it mentioned yesterday that in Deano's absence, Olaf Rebbe and Wagner have clashed repeatedly in the past few weeks and are poles apart on strategy and recruitment. Sadly this evening I'm hearing he has decided to go under his own steam. Really hope this isnt the case but there appears to be rumours now of a morning press conference so likely. Read more: downatthemac.proboards.com/thread/111382/wagner-hoax?page=1#ixzz5cbiskZIPMust be something in this.If true I'm quite worried how much influence on our club this Olaf has,if true most of our shite transfer deals were down to him.

I'm just gonna go have a quiet little cry in a dark room. That video on the official site ruined me.

The stand out candidate has to be Alex Neil, currently manager of Preston North end. He did an incredible job with limited resources at Hamilton Academicals in the SPL. He was then immense for Norwich. He is great tactically and gets the best out of limited players. He creates a great team spirit. Crucially, he can also be an "impact" manager. It is critical to get someone who can turn things around fast !!! Alex Neil is the man (if available)

I have no regrets - just happiness at the moment... that this honest, great man decided to coach my football team and produce the best Town side that I have witnessed in my lifetime. This day had to come and it could have come so much earlier and thankfully it didn't, which was entirely to do with the integrity of the man.
This season is probably a right-off, although we may have a bounce and a few wins. But... we now need to take time before appointing a new manager.

Legend forever
Let down by poor summer recruitment and everything being against us on the pitch this season
Needs a break to clear his head and rediscover his touch
Big loss but we move on

I'm saddened by this, but it was only a matter of time. The guy looked ill with all the pressure after the weekends game.

Very sorry to hear wagner gone. Took us further than could have dreamed Of. Great memories of play Off final, beating man utd and staying up last season. Will always be a town legend. Think time is right for him To go now instead of end of season. Hope we don't get a new manager off the merry go round. Think the recruitment guy should go as well hasn't brought any quality in to the team. Good luck to Hudson on Sunday he's going to need it.

Somewhere, on the outskirts of Huddersfield, cries can be heard from a posh house. Police are trying to contact the Hadergjonaj's as a matter of urgency.

To all those wanting him out... Well you got it. Let's see who you get and what they do with an inept squad.
Be careful what you wish for.... Carvahal, karanka, Pardew names in the frame.
Can we have Wagner.

Gutted to read this
Legend is used too freely IMO ... but Wagner leaves an absolute Town legend in my eyes
Thanks for everything David
