Beat Everton, Big Laurent repeats his Stanford bridge heroics, draw Arsenal and alakazam the Town are back in it!
Come on Town. Mooy, Billing and Hogg reunited, Big Steve gets a goal, we find some wide players from somewhere. Boom! Done the impossible twice time to make it 3 in a row!.
I've had a couple of beers but that's irrelevant.

I’ll have what you’re having!
My gut feeling was we needed 3 against Cardiff.....however....new manager and new ideas, I still have a very faint glimmer of hope...
Reading about the PL great escapes, they assess where teams were with 10 games left. I think West Ham 06/7 were bottom and 10 adrift...and survived, Leicester were 7 adrift and bottom in the 14/15 season and stayed up.
So, big question is how many from safety will we be with 10 games left?? If it’s less than 10.....who knows, maybe a miracle could happen!

If we are to have any slight glimmer of hope we HAVE to win Tuesday, nothing less I'm afraid will do.

If Siewart has anything about him then Depoitre won't play for us again. Absolute waste of a sub this season

Of the three upcoming teams, I think we are hitting them all at the best time possible. Everton are going nowhere under Silva, Sarri is p*ssing off his players and Arsenal are being Arsenal. None will be easy, but at another stage of the season they could have been a lot harder.

Jan's the man to give the Toffees a good chewing next Tuesday. By the time we've finished with them, they'll be like a gobbed-up Werther's Original lying in the gutter, with a set of false teeth sticking out!

It’s the hope that kills you. I gave up hoping after Burnley (H) and am enjoying the games more in a strange kind of way. I’m certainly not getting as stressed.

Yeah, but you're not telling me, that if we somehow get 7 from the next 9 and cut the gap, you'll not be hoping? I'm OK either way, but while there's still hope and an injection of enthusiasm around the place who knows what can happen? Our GD across the season is not particularly reflective of these last few games, which aside of Sunday, Soton & Man U were all losses with the tightest of margins, not to mention a couple of decisions that I/we drone on about that might have yielded 5 more points. That's tempered with the fact we can't score for toffee, but guess who we play next... Straws, clutching? Not bothered really, we're in a hole & buried, but only up to our waist at the moment...

Yes - if we got 7 from the next 9 I would be hoping. Bit I know that we won’t get more than a max of 1 point from the next 9 so no worries there.

You know Town will be sending you through the wringer at least once before the end of the season...

7 points from the next 9,I love people's optimism. Screw that, we're getting 27. Yeah, 27. You know why? Because I bought this stupid hat that philincalifornia said was required And I got this stupid dog because, again, phil said so And it has to wear this stupid sweater because I live in a humid continental climate characterized by severe winters and the poor bastard would freeze to death But the most important reason: I found the underwear that I was wearing for the Wolverhampton game (my bad about Sunday, I thought I had the right pair on but, frankly, they all look the same.) Said underwear is in a position of honor in my drawer only to be taken out on match days. Take it to the bank.
