If Campbell is unfit for any more games Mounie should start up top and leave Grant on the wing. That’s what I wanted second half but would have kept Diakhaby on and taken Kachunga off

Pritchard has changed the game for us and got us going forward. Must start next time out.

In one match Bacuna has gone down more times than Jenna Jameson did in her whole career Gone down faster than a MFI wardrobe!

Small consolation I know but at least one of my featured bets came home again

Well the key to the rights and wrongs of this will be what happens when Brown is fit again. Bump :-) Kongolo was poor but no worse than about 8 others.

We took 3 points from two games where we would have been happy with 2 points. DC has learned a bit about his squad players. Forget and move on.

Team for Next Game:
Grabara Simpson Brown Schindler Elphick (Kongolo if unfit)
Hogg OBrien Pritchard
Diahabky Grant
Mounie (Much greater threat and gives us presence compared to Campbell and looks a lot fitter based on todays performance)
Kachunga removed from squad - zero attacking threat.

Think Pritchard has disappointed massively since his first game for us, but certainly made a difference today. So did Mounie. Kongolo either unfit or off in January. Never a full back. Probably weakest midfield + wingers for many a season.

Kongolo was poor but no worse than about 8 others. Do you think Brown will start against Birmingham? Depends if he's fit or not. He probably should start if he is but if Elphick's injured I'd play Kongolo in the middle because Stankovic isn't the answer.

I do that every day. I learn I’m wrong then I forget about it. Fook me, the missus never forgets, I get reminded all the time 😂

I'd have taken 3 points from the Brentford and Preston away games if offered that haul beforehand. Even so, it's still very, very annoying, especially knowing that Town can play much better than that.

Positives in Mounie and Pritchard, but we were far too soft today and got bullied for 60 minutes until they came on.
I think it’s time to drop Chalobah from the squad and bring Reece Brown in. Chalobah is not a midfielder and never will be, I’m starting to feel sorry for him as he’s so far out of his depth.

He started the season so well but has faded game after game and he looks like he’s only playing because Chelsea insist. If it’s a confidence thing he needs some time away and brought back slowly. If not his career could go backwards

We cannot continue to start games so badly and off the pace and concentration. Kongolo does not want to be here, don't care what he says off the pitch, his performance on it tells the tale. If chalobah is here to impress his club or to impress other clubs its failing badly. Kachunga works hard but it rarely affects the game either way. It's clear Elphick cannot perform in enough games. Have to get to the window and the cowleys decide how the team they really want here starts to play how they want it to. Club need to back their decisions.

Tough match against a united side who all desperately want to be there, improve and progress
I believe in time the cowleys will put together a similar unit at town
I can’t begrudge the lads who are trying their best like kachunga and chalobah - no shame if you give your best
I will not defend the half dozen wages thieves still on the books signed for stupid money in the PL who are at best going through the motions while they plan their escape from Huddersfield.
The sooner these parasites get out of the club and can be replaced by lads who will train hard and wear our shirt with pride the better

PNE fans view:
Not a lot to add to what has been written by you already. We were missing Pearson and DJ ( our top scorer ) from midfield and so did go a bit longer than usual, which you didn't seem able to cope with. We pressed and harried from the start and gave you no time on the ball which we have tried to do all season and today it worked a treat. Every town player looked like he wanted 3 touches. After 70 minutes we tired ( as usual after pressing for so long ) and you came back into the game. Disappointed to have conceded the goal from a deflection but , well... As many teams have found out, you got done by our system and 'game management'. I'm sure we'll get sussed by christmas but hopefully we'll be in a decent position by then to carry on and grab a top 6 place.
Your left full back looked useless and way too slow to be playing there. Bacuna seems to be getting slated on here but I thought he looked like the only one who wanted the ball. He did fall down very easily. Cramp or a calf strain at the end? The lad whose name I cant remember or spell who got subbed in the second half, strolled off as if you were winning but it looked livelier than he had been all game. Keeper looks a liability. I was looking forward to seeing Grant today but he didnt get into the game at all. O'bien looked up for it but found himself isolated in midfield. Pritchard looked decent and at least looked interested.
I'm sure you play much better at home for some reason and look forward to the game there. Good luck for the rest of the season!

What did we learn today?
- 3 shots on target, three goals..disappointing?
- Kongolo isn't a left back, confirmed. visibly doesn't want to be here. Flo is a better stand in ffs!
- Stankovic isn't a championship player; I'm still yet to see him have a solid game.
- Bacuna is a passenger when starting. we don't have an alternative at this stage
- Trev just isn't a championship footballer. flopped at ipswich and now us.
- Diakhaby remains an enigma
- Kachunga is a 100%er but offers little, confirmed again
...
i'd like to see prichard and koroma start the next game; also brown or flo at lb

He can't even defend in his natural position.
