Forget the permutations - the team have to do their job on Saturday; that's it!!

Cannot see us digging ourselves out of this one. Beat Brum we have a chance but do we deserve one? We could be relegated today even if we beat Birmingham.. 🙈🙈 Actually having looked again I’m wrong.. Still in with a theoretical chance of staying up on goal difference.. 👍

Ipswich are going to have something to play for on the last day regardless, so it's not going to save us hoping they'll be on the beach..
Ultimately it was the Swansea game we really needed to win,

If we win and Wednesday win then it goes to the last day. We’d then need to beat Ipswich and hope Sheff Wed lose their last game, if that happens we’ll stay up on goal difference.

You would expect the baggies to be too good for Wednesday..
They need a win to secure playoffs..
🤞🤞

Ultimately it was the Swansea game we really needed to win, Might be missing something, but if Ipswich win their next two games - both in hand over Leeds - then that puts them on 95 points with a game to go. Leeds, on 90, wouldn't be able to catch them, right? All ifs, buts and maybes regardless...

So hull possibly nowt to play for.. 🤷🏻♂️🤞

wouldn't Plymouth and Blackburn come into the equation ? If they both lose today…yes Plymouth play Hull last game, and away at Millwall today...they could easily lose both...but we still need to win both our games due to their goal difference being 16 better..
Blackburn have Coventry today and then Leicester away ..their goal diff is 11 better...

We’d be very unlucky to go down with 2 wins. We’d be even luckier to stay up with anything less.

If Ipswich win the next two & get promoted to the Premier league on Tuesday night I would be very surprised if Kieran McKenna turns round & says 'no celebrating yet lads, we have the title to play for'.......Wouldn't surprise me if Leicester don't win another game looking at the party they are having.

Stoke at Southampton.. = 50pts.... final game Bristol C (H)
Blackburn home to Coventry..= 49 pts...Leicester (A)
Plymouth at Millwall... = 48pts............Hull City (H)
Wednesday home to WBA..= 47 pts.....Sunderland (A)
Town beat Brum.. = 47pts..................Ipswich (A)
Brum.. = 46 pts................................Norwich (H)

Yeah it’s set up nicely for Ipswich automatic party day which hopefully they hold the night before our game.

One thing there are no set of results. Where Ipswich either aren't fighting for second place or the title in the last game.
They won't be on the beach.

How’s about this for a scenario. For whatever Ipswich are playing for a draw is of zero use to them.
We hold on to 0 0 for 90 minutes. They get a corner, keeper goes up, 21 players round our box and Delano on the half way line, Nichols catches the ball…….
A more likely possibility, we lose today.

As bad as we've played this season today is 100% about winning..so as much as I'd like to see some fight and commitment, I'd rather we got the 3 points ..and at least take it to the last game...then your scenario can unfold in all it's glory...

Burgzorg passes it to Koroma, who smacks it against the bar from 35 yards… 😉

Apologies, typo…
Burgzorg does 3 stepovers, then waits for a defender to get within a yard of him, with a 🎯 on his shin pads…

So we lose today and permutations mean F all. Not usually negative but can see today bringing the curtain down on a thoroughly miserable season. If however we do manage to stay up please God let us get rid of these losers we have in our squad

How does everyone like their shit sandwich?
May I offer you a draw in Ipswich’s next game, then we somehow pull off a stupid result at Portman Rd to let Leeds sneak into second place…
For what it’s worth, looking at the table, I think Brum may be joining us and Rotherham, they really have to win v Norwich, a draw is unlikely to save them unless Plymouth get beat heavily at home.
So, the smallest of small consolations, could the Brum fans be traipsing out of St Andrews next week as miserable as we are…
