Some are just not very good footballers not necessarily bad people. Many mistakes this year the first being a pre season in Cornwall playing the dog and duck and then finding out that Plymouth were a professional team and weren’t going to roll over! Whoever thought that was good preparation was daft and again, it was more about the individual Warnock and not the team.

All very well if Warnock is your manager. Not great if you want them to adopt a fitness based approach later in the season. Same with training and discipline. Don’t start the season letting players do what they want and then expect a gentle chap like Moore to be able to demand above and beyond.

I don't swear on here but this thread has got me closest of any, and there have been some very annoying threads on here. I stayed and applauded the team off. They gave their all today and as Gary Rowett said "I thought both teams put it all out there on the line and competed fabulously well." And he was right. Given the pressure they gave it their all. This squad may not be good enough to maintain a place in the Championship but you applaud them because they gave it everything today and because THEY ARE OUR TEAM!! I will be there next season supporting my team however good or bad it is. That is why we are called supporters and anyone who has a problem with that can do one. Gave their all today? Thats okay then. They didn't give their all for the qst half. They've not given their all for most the season. Because they gave their all for 45 minutes today that's okay? Does that mean we have stayed up? Did we get a bonus point for it? Get with the real world. "The real world" as you call it is just the crap that gets spouted on here. A bunch of keyboard warriors, many of whom seem to post most when we are doing poorly. I have seen my team relegated 3 times and this season it has happened for a bunch of reasons. Poor decisions off the field and a catalogue of long term injuries. This squad didn't have a recognised senior striker for months, we lost two of our three experienced fullbacks for most of the season and then lost the last one. We have regularly been short of centre back cover and haven't had a decent creative midfielder for years. That isn't the fault of the lads out there today. As much as it hurts us all, IMHO the lads out there today deserved applause for how hard they fought.

Not that I was going to clap them, but the cowards weren't even going to go round until Helik told them too. Trying to scrurry down the tunnel as fast as possible. Helik is a class footballer and human being Deserves a great career.

Both teams were nervous but conceding a goal just before halftime meant there was nothing to lose and we just couldn't be cautious. I didn't think there was lack of effort first half they were just trying not to concede. Given we had Ollie Turton starting his first match of the season and Rhys Healey with only 3 full matches before today, plus 70 minutes in a cup game, you can see why it took some settling. We took the game to them first half but it was still nervy.

Sorry mate but that’s a load of shite. People supporting their team are the problem? Really? Who made you the moral guardian of HTFC? People accepting any old shite and cheering failure are part of the problem, for definite. You do post some absolute bollocks. Why anyone listens and agrees with you , god only knows, you’re an absolute tool.

I don't actually disagree with this assessment of today's match, but over the course of the season, they haven't deserved applause in my view. It's rare I leave a game where we haven't lost without clapping at least a little if the effort has been there. I did today, not reflecting the effort this afternoon but attitudes over the course of the season. I'm not someone who boos players. I get behind them. But too many have done nothing to applaud or get behind for too long. Each to their own on this. My comment is in no way intended as criticism of those who did choose to applaud the effort this afternoon. Indeed, taken out of context there was praiseworthy effort and some individual performances meriting appreciation (Rudoni springs to mind). But I just no longer had it in me to care.

So what, he’s still an absolute cock, and just tell me how many other teams pre season against pub teams, just so Warnock can grandstand at his massive estate in the West Country.

Not if it attracts tools like you , take it you’re not supporting your team at Ipswich next Sat, if I were Nagel I wouldn’t have you anywhere near the club, especially when everyone’s shite , in your opinion.

I don’t think you’re wrong, no. But not everyone can win can they? And maybe it’s best not to be a dick (not saying you’re a dick!) when you don’t. We’ve all had lots of practise at not winning for a long time haven’t we? Hogg, Turton, Pearson, Nicholls, Lees all been part of teams in better times. Helik committed. What’s wrong with clapping them? Bit of a silly discussion really isn’t it, regardless of which side we’re on?! What's right about clapping a team that's just been relegated? Shall we all just sulk and boo then? Prob last time Town fans see Hogg. A massive player for us over 10 years. Turton, Pearson, Lees, Nicholls, Ward. Thanks lads, got some great memories from 21/22. Less so since but don’t think it’s all on you. Helik - enjoyed watching you play for us for two seasons and, shock horror, enjoyed your goals. Spencer - been nice to watch your improvement and will follow your career when you leave. Rudoni - ditto. Rest of them-not so much. Please tell me what you think I should do next time we’re in this situation.

Well, if you ever fancy stop being a keyboard warrior, I'll be there on Tuesday and you can say whatever you need to say to me in person, as I'm giving up a days' work to volunteer my time. I won't be at Ipswich as I have a prior engagement in Barnet that day, otherwise I would have gone, as I've never been to Portman Road. And it's a good job you're not Nagle then isn't it, as it takes all sorts to make up a fanbase, you don't get to decide who's a supporter and who isn't. We all have differing opinions and that's allowed. Also, I don't think everyone's shite, the club do some very good work off the pitch and very rarely get the credit for it, I've said this numerous times and will continue saying it. It's a shame that those players, who are shite, have let those people down this season, some of those people are probably going to lose their jobs now.

I haven't insulted anybody this evening, I've posted my opinions, which is what a forum is for. You don't like me, so you've just taken various opportunities to start slinging insults because that's all you do on here. You insult people, claim that they're of less intelligence than you and just generally slag them off. You never offer anything constructive at all.
