If it is Clark, he can't do any worse than the experienced Mr Ternent!

Please shut up Roeder is an absolutely terrible manager, but I don't think that reflects on the little any of us know about Clark. Norwich fans do think they are garbage though. All we can do is reserve judgement on him and get behind him! I could be wrong, but wouldn't that make Lucketti older than our manager? ;D

There's a big difference between saying its a crap appointment and saying he'll be on his back.

I don't think anyone can call this a 'great' appointment. We don't have a clue whether it is 'great' or not because none of us know anything of Clark's coaching or managerial ability. I would say it is very big gamble, and also ambitious. Great is the wrong word.

Do you all think that Deano would make a risky decision based on no evidence whatsoever. He, unlike Mr. Davy, is a life-long town fan, and judging by how much money he has invested in the club when he's not even the full chairman yet, shows that he means business. I trust that his decision will help Huddersfield Town f*****g rise again!!!

Im a bit underwhelmed by the appointment but im gonna give him a chance! i think its a bit of a mistake though as 80% of town fans are not going to give this bloke any time at all.

both of my mates are norwich season ticket holders and they are gutted he's leaving Both of them? You have two friends? If it's Clark, I'm not un-happy at all. It's better than paying over the odds for someone who would leave us as soon as a better job comes up (something I would worry about with both Big Sam and Aidy) it's better than paying 1.2 million (or whatever was mentioned for Adkins) and it's defo better than paying big bugs for a washed up manager as we just did with ST. At the moment we aren't as big as people want us to be, but if we have some bollocks and take on a new boy we could fly!

If it is Clark lets just be sensible about it. We are not the force some on here think we are and can't attract just anyone, this is afterall, the third division. If we all look at what Dean Hoyle has done since he came in nobody can doubt his passion and no little amount of determination to take us forwards. The amount of money he has already committed is comendable given the nature of football and the fact alot of fans always expect miracles. He stuck his neck out when nobody else did and continues to do so. He spent a fortune on players and contracts, he spent a fortune on getting rid of Ternent, Jepson and Doherty and not many disagreed with all that so I for one am certainly prepared to back his choice as the next manager of Huddersfield Town as he needs to get it right more than any of us need him to get it right.
If it is Lee Clark, lets give him a fantastic welcome on saturday eh?

Hope hes got a good striker in mind ..... lee clarks barmy army , htfc. he Skysports says Lee Clark will be OFFERED the job - he may then take a little whille to decide whether he WANTS it or not. Im sure Dean Hoyle will have a pretty good idea whether he'd say yes or not.......im just saying the article just says he will be offered the job not he 'he will be confirmed as manager'. For what its worth i think he'll grab the job with both hands...he was a classy purist of a footballer and can imagine a team of his would look to play very good, passing football.

;D Hope it is confirmed now as ive come round to the idea of him as new manager !![/quote He will be young, hungry and well connected i'd imagine - given his playing days are recent ish and in the top flight. He's also worked with prem academies. I think he'd be a good appointment as long as he has experience alongside him.
