We'd have to pay Norwich compensation for taking him off his current contract, on top of his wages.
Hardly the cheap option, is it?

He may well do, but no-one knows if that is the case.

jacko was a cheap option and had no experience, and yet he managed to get us promoted (having started with 8 players),only just miss out on the playoffs, and get to the playoffs in 3 years.......sometimes the cheap option isnt always the worst Great post stevvy - the man is a legend and the job he did should never be underestimated!! He had less cash and talent to work with than those that followed him both times but he did a superb job in finishing in a higher position each yr except for his last! It was the right time for him to go last time, but it would have been interesting to see him with the current cash availability at his disposal.

Yorath deserves just as much credit as Jacko, he was clearly the brains behind the opperation.
