If huddersfield signed Danny Graham it would be a major coup. He is everything we have been looking for He is strong, hard working, and clinical - whats not to like?

Carlisle are obviously hoping that now the price is public someone will come in with a higher bid. It's just a waiting game now I suppose !?

Let's hope it's also a "go find someone else just in case" game!! Open season on Graham, following our bid. With his scoring record, there is bound to be other interest. Carlisle lost no time in making it public, to try to start an auction - just the usual tactics. When was the last time this happened with a Town player?!

Preston are leading the chase for Carlisle striker Danny Graham, who has already been the subject of a £250,000 bid from Huddersfield. (Star)

Charlton are making their moves as well apparently in a possible player+cash deal.

Assumedly these 'player + cash' deals of £300k are actually, "a small amount of money and a player whose supposed value makes the total deal up to £300k"?
If so - then our £250k cash offer might still be the best deal on the table, if Carlisle aren't actually interested in the players being offered?

Just seen this on the BBC's transfer page for today: Joe Anyinsah [Preston - Carlisle] Undisclosed The plot thickens Since, according to the Carlisle board, there appears to have been a fee involved, you would think that if the Preston "want Graham rumour" were true, they would have linked the two deals. Anyinsah is a quick winger by the looks of it. The Carlisle fans seem quite excited about the signing.
