Well going what I have seen during my time as a Town supporter, it would have to be Marcus Stewart.

Dean Gorre if he'd played for us for longer. But i'll say Stewart, what an absolute legend.
I'm talking of players i've seen obviously, can't comment on the ones I haven't!

Having given it some serious thought and dredged my memory banks I've decided to plump for the indomitable Len Quested.

Ken Monkou was best centre half when he first came..absolute class. Shame he was a complete money grabbing t0sser. other than that town best player since we have been across the road is Stevie Harper

Kindon.
Can anyone tell me who was the last Town player to win a full England cap, whilst playing for Town.

Marcus Stewart, but I hope someone remembers to post this same question in a years time, because I think Gary Roberts could be my answer in 12 months if he continues in this form.....

Number 1: Denis Law
He certainly made the greatest impression in world football.
Twice clubs created a new British transfer record when signing him. Full international cap at age 18. European Footballer of the year. etc.
Number 2: Ray Wilson, acknowledged at the time to be the best full back in the world.
Best team ever: Hudersfield Town in the mid twenties. England were the dominant team in the world; and for one match at Wembley, England used 5 Town players, and Scotland 1.
Dean Hoyle and our present management team represent our best ever chance of a return to glory days. They could enable a Town player to rise for consideration in lists such as these!
Good luck to them all ... and thank you.

is there any relation with frank and jon worthington? Frank is Johnny's old man but I think Mrs Worthington must of been having it away with their one legged ginger milkman back in the day.
