A more reliable source than the usual red tops. The canteen at work has the Times and most of the rumours they print turn out to be bang on the money.

I thought he was more of a winger than a striker The bids seem to be going up and up! Robiniho's walked out on Man City. We'll be in for him by the 31st. £35m plus Unsworth

Be the best signing out of the lot, but don't see dean splashing that amount! Unless Collins does leave.

It seems he has a decent scoring record at championship level. But is £1 million a bit steep in the current market? Clark really is going for broke on his striker quest! Never seen us make so many consectutive striker bids.

Hmm, just played Blackburn in a friendly, was Lee sounding them out about Gallagher? Not too far from Blackburn if he has a house and family there? Could be a goer.

Never exactly been a prolific goal scorer has he? Id rather Cox or Graham or probably both for that money!

I think you may have hit the spot there collins will fund this transfer possibly, but for that kind of money, my guess would be smithies providing the funds rather than collins. not in the know, just speculating.

Nobodys sure at all tbh, Some say this year some say next, either way I expect the worst to lighten damage limitation

Eh? Why would this be a good signing for a million?! he has netted 7 this season and has a fairly low goal scroring league average in his career of 0.17?? Bad investment IMO........................

Agreed, but all those goals have been at Prem or Champ level - should probably bag a few more in League 1

Agreed, but all those goals have been at Prem or Champ level - should probably bag a few more in League 1 Can't understand people saying they wouldn't want Paul Gallagher but would love it if Jon Stead came back With 1 international cap and plenty of Premier games under his belt, he has higher class experience than Dickinson, Cox, Porter, Graham. I think the only problem with it is that £1m is a lot of money in L1 and if he didn't score nearly every week, he would be seen as money badly spent.

Not saying it's a bad signing full stop, just no a million quids worth!

A mate of mine is a Stoke fan and says he's a useful and technically gifted forward but looked a bit out of sorts when played on the wing (in favour of Stoke's more direct approach to attacking). And that was in a decent Championship side! £1M seems a bit steep but we don't know if there are add-ons for promotion/goals scored etc
