Screaming and shouting his head off, mostly abusive, as he normally does. Early 20's I reckon. Fair enough This isn't that fat lad who everyone used to sing "he's off to burger king" is it? Being in Direct Golf i've missed all this excitement and not a clue who he is I couldn't tell you as I don't often sit down there myself, only times I do is when I'm correctly spotting that opposing players are onside in stoppage time

I'd have thought 13000 people all jumping up at once when we score is far more dangerous than a few hundred people stood still causing no danger to anyone.
How long before we arent allowed to celebrate goals?

How long before we arent allowed to celebrate goals? Never a truer word than spoken in jest. Today's Health & Safety Junta would love that to be the case.

I sit in the "singing section" & I stand as much as I can. I stand because I want to stand. I HATE having to sit down at Football. It just doesn't feel right. It's just not normal to sit down & watch Footie to me. Plus, as soon as everyone sits down the atmosphere just drops. Getting people to sit down is just yet another example of the nanny state we live in these days, when your told what to do, when to do it, and how to do it. Football is getting more & more middle class by the season, seems you cant even have a laugh anymore which is what going to Football is all about. Oh how I wish I was born 20 years earlier. Modern Football is shite. I bet you wish you were in the Leppings Lane end at Hillsborough that fateful day too? There's a reason that football stadia became all-seater - and it's a fucking good reason. Peterborough, Bristol Rovers, Yeovil and Hereford all have standing accommodation in our league. Funnily enough none of them have had anyone hurting themselves due to standing. Those are just the grounds with terracing. I could name countless grounds in this league who have to abide to the same safety standards as Town but adopt common sense - Allowing people to stand when not blocking others who wish to sit. I've never seen or have been injured from this process. In fact the only time I have been injured at a game is when we scored a goal and I damaged my leg on the seat in front. Just because standing is not your personal preference it doesn't mean you should just discount it and argue with everyone else who thinks different. There's many ways in which to re introduce safe standing in the UK - and that doesn't mean turning everywhere into a standing area, so you'll still get your cosy seat it just means people who want to stand can. May I also add, your language is appalling.

I don't have a problem with swearing at games and like most I hate the way the game ( and everything else nowadays) is getting all sanitised, but in the right company thats all, not when you're surrounded by under 10s and old ladies at a friendly like these cretins at Rochdale were. I wouldn't have any problem saying anything to your face by the way ( you don't exactly strike me as someone I should be worried about confronting!) and would have done at Rochdale but thought better of getting into a row with 8 or 9 big tough guys who are so tough they can shout 'f**king c**t' really loud a lot, when I had 3 little kids with me, so I just moved away and left you to carry on spoiling peoples match.

May I also add, your language is appalling. Have you tried having a word with yourself as to why the afforementioned grounds are not all seaters Cos they are sh!tholes from the early 1900's!!! We have a new stadium which at the time (and still is) the envy of many!! Suddenly, After 15 years some now seem to have decided that sitting is not 'the thing to do' anymore!!! Don't get me wrong, I used to love standing as much as the next man but times have changed and until the rules change to allow standing again the it's a pretty pointless argument.........ironically conducted by many who had probably not reached puberty last time you could stand at a Town home match!!!!

been banned since august because i have refused to go down and sign a behaviour agreement. The clubs stewards are a joke simple as, the biggest clown out of the lot is that numpty john robinson the chief safety steward.

There's a reason that football stadia became all-seater - and it's a fucking good reason. Correct - the incompetence of the policeman put in charge of the game and the failure of Sheffield Wednesday to keep their ground in a fit state.

Sitting down at football kills the atmosphere completely which is why most of our ground resembles a morgue. Its usually the ones who sit in the quiter areas who complain that booing the team after a poor result is negative (open to discussion) but this is after they have sat down quiet as mice all game browsing their programmes until we score a goal. If you disagree then please describe a time when you were involved in a fantastic atmosphere whilst seated??

And don't forget the metal fencing to cage them in as well, like animals jellobiafra - so why is it fine and works perfectly in Germany then..that is terraced stadia?
