Is this the new midfield 'chopper' that we've been after?

On a positive note, I actually feel proud that we have Yorkshire Air Ambulance on our shirts! Great deal - well done Town. On a negative note - I really don't like the Home shirt. I think the big stripes look awful, not that it matters what I think. I don't even buy the shirts!

They look the biz!
I'll be buying them both this year I reckon. Not had a shirt for years.

would agree about the stripes, they're too big, and not enough of them

very disapointing. gone from one of the best home kits in the league this season to something that looks like brighton & hove albion. it's a shame we couldn't keep this years another season, best kit in years and we only have it one year!

This current home one was always going to only be for the one season. The centenary 'un.

Who did the photo-shoot? I see they've asked the players to re-enact the opening titles of Byker Grove.

Couldn't agree more fella. I'm all for forward thinking and thinking 'out of the box' but there is no continuity in these kits. The tradition is non apparent and the true identity of Huddersfield Town Football Club.......is lost. This years kit was superb. Collars, correct blue, tradition but progressive, crisp and distinctively HTAFC. These kits are an attempt to do something different and a blatant disregard to the core values and representation of HTAFC. Both kits show no mirror of design and no relation to each other. The attempt to create a new kit has gone beyond design boundries.........into the mist and a kid with a colouring pad with novice mentality has emerged. Dean Hoyle - I hold you in respect, but you've made your first big mistake........I should know, i'm a 25+ years experienced brand designer.

The new kit is almost very nice, only problems are the colour of the socks (town don't play in blue socks; white or black) and width of the stripes, everything else looks great and i think it's a grower. FWIW i thought this seasons was gash, wrong blue and the stripes are far too thin (thinner than any past town kits), looks like a tesco carrier bag. The blue on the new one looks spot on, town ought to play in the blue from the 20s,30's and 50's. ie LIGHTish BLUE.

I was hoping they'd go for the kit that came 2nd in the vote last time with black socks. Prefer retro styles myself without all this red piping everywhere, and the 'sponsor' logo in a big white panal looks a bit Sunday morning pub league to me.

Don't mind the red piping too much, without it a big red logo on a blue and white kit would have looked out of place. Stripes are a little to wide though and we should be in black socks, its the only part of our kit that is distinctive.
The kit is only for one season though. Are we having 2 new kits a year? hope not.

I thought they brought a rule in a few years ago that said clubs couldn't constantly change shirts?

Thumbs down from me The stripes are far too wide.
I like the colour though. It's colour are bright blue and white as the song goes, but nowhere near as good as the first Panasonic shirt we went to Wembley in

Don't like the home one, but no doubt it'll grow on me and I'll fall in love with it. Prefer the away one though. Getting Pilkington on back of that next season.

The new kit is simply awful and reeks of the lower leagues. Has it been designed by a special needs modern apprentice? One of the few highpoints of this season has been having a classy home kit. Oh well...
