The 3 stripes ties in with the ' the Yorkshire Club' branding that will be on everything Huddersfield Town. The 'swoosh' on the side of the shirts looks smart. Town will make more money (potentially) from this partnership, rather than having the usual kind of corporate sponsor on our shirt (who would pay about £30k for the privilege). Plus Town have the kudos of being linked to, and for fund raising towards, an iconic charity. Huddersfield Town going forward is a new breed. They're looking to do things differently with new refreshing ideas. It's going to be a fun few years as a Town fan. More fun than it already is?

In addition, I love the look of the new home shirt for the very reason of the charity advertisement. Yes, money is important to any football club, but what a gesture to give it to a charity. It gives me a warm feeling that the club is in good hands. It will be the first shirt I've bought since 1999 and I hope it raises more awareness for such a fantastic life saving charity. While I have the utmost respect for the air ambulance if we were going to have a charity on the shirt what about the National Institute for the Blind in honour of whoever designed this abomination and after looking at the quality of the away kit material it looks like being my first new shirtless season for over 20 years

Wonder if the Air Ambulance will land with the match ball on the first home game of the season - that would be something to watch!! Jim Goodwin could greet the pilot and say "Who do you think you are, Tom Cruise in Top-gun!!?? We've already got a ball thanks, you flash b******, now **** off so we can get playing." appologies for the swearing but it is after 9pm
