Anybody know anything about the back of the shirt White patch for numbers? Colour of numbers ? Personally not bothered, buy every game my old man goes on about not seeing numbers - don't know why, he still asks me who the players are - even Boothy !! Blind old sod ;D Any way - LOVE the shirt - deffo buying one, and the away kit too = serious grovelling time and present buying (to same cash value !!) for t'wife UTT Thank god I'm not the only one struggling with the old man syndrome. When I turned to him (he's 76) at the match last Saturday and remarked that Craney hadn't even made the squad this week, he said ' Who's Craney?' I said we got him from Accrington... he's been with us all season, played quite a bit. He just looked at me blankly and then said 'Never heard of him!'. I give up! ;D

Love the look of the kit - nice to see 'Yorkshire' on the front. Nice.

I think the move to support a charity on the home shirt is great, although I think this season's home shirt is marginally better (prefer the thinner stripes).
Quick question, will our third kit be this season's gold one?

Huge comedown compared to this season's shirt. Never been a fan of the wider stripes. Don't think I'll be shelling out £40 for this one.

don't like the look of adult supporters with players names on shirts myself... Me neither. It was a joke with regards to the probability of both Holdsworth & Worthington leaving in the summer.

Home and away kits are both blue. I think some refs won't like that next season. They'll probably play in the gold kit with tape over the sponsors!

Its alright, would like it better if it had thinner stripes.
Never buy the shirts anyways so guess it makes no difference either way to me really.

I am in a minority no doubt but I DON'T LIKE IT.
Reasons - 1. The stripes are far too wide. I have no idea why keep chopping and changing the size of the stripes - this year was perfect for me. 2. Darker blue is better IMO. More imposing. 3. The sponsor looks shit. Charity starts at home and we aren't ina position to be philanthropic.
All just my opinion obviously.

very disapointing. gone from one of the best home kits in the league this season to something that looks like brighton & hove albion. it's a shame we couldn't keep this years another season, best kit in years and we only have it one year! Couldn't agree more fella. I'm all for forward thinking and thinking 'out of the box' but there is no continuity in these kits. The tradition is non apparent and the true identity of Huddersfield Town Football Club.......is lost. This years kit was superb. Collars, correct blue, tradition but progressive, crisp and distinctively HTAFC. You're wrong actually. The new, lighter blue stripes (as previously seen on the PrimeTime 03-05, and the Panasonic 97-01) are the 'correct' colour for the stripes. The very first blue and white striped shirt had the lighter blue and started in 1913 and lasted until sometime after 1928. Even the collars that you claim are traditional aren't infact the same as was played in for 20 years at the start of the blue and white tradition. They were blue (light) round neck collars. It's interesting to note that the MOST traditional shirt has been the Admiral, Prime Time shirt from 2003-05. Stop banging on about tradition when actually you mean living memory!

i wasnt convinced this morning but ive just seen the picture of ainsworth wearing it again on htfcterrier6's post up top. and i like it now. i like that blue stripe on shorts that go into the shirt. and collar looks decent, not a silly flappy one but not a nonexistant one either

In the middle on this
1) The stripes were always going to be wider - which I don't like! 2) The stripes were always going to be lighter - which I do like!
The stripes look too wide and like someones stretched them!
Liken the piping as something different.
This seasons shirt is my favourite so it was always going to be difficult to follow up.
But they have to change the stripe width, colours etc to sell more shirts...the following shirt will no doubt be darker and thinner etc,

In addition, I love the look of the new home shirt for the very reason of the charity advertisement. Yes, money is important to any football club, but what a gesture to give it to a charity. It gives me a warm feeling that the club is in good hands. It will be the first shirt I've bought since 1999 and I hope it raises more awareness for such a fantastic life saving charity.

The 3 stripes ties in with the 'the Yorkshire Club' branding that will be on everything Huddersfield Town.
The 'swoosh' on the side of the shirts looks smart.
Town will make more money (potentially) from this partnership, rather than having the usual kind of corporate sponsor on our shirt (who would pay about £30k for the privilege).
Plus Town have the kudos of being linked to, and for fund raising towards, an iconic charity.
Huddersfield Town going forward is a new breed. They're looking to do things differently with new refreshing ideas. It's going to be a fun few years as a Town fan.
