What's everyone's opinions on Him? do you think He's good enough for us or do you think we should get rid?
I think He'd be decent backup to Williams..

i think the guy has the potential to be a very very good full back. That said i would probable be in the market for a new, first choice left back for next season with scarz being sent out on loan to a league 2 club for the season.

Tell you what I’ll place greater stock in Lee Clark and his coaches opinion of Skarz!
The only time Skarz has played consistently in Town shirt was as a 17 or 18 year old in a struggling side.
He seemingly did well at Hartlepool and IMO is proven now as a decent League One footballer, with age on his side hey could improve further still
While he is slow he is technically sound and as Spain and Barcelona show pace is not everything in the modern game!

Still very young but has a lot of potential. I can see him being an excellent player at L1 level but perhaps his lack of real pace will stop him going any higher. A good player to have as back up to williams

He's still young but he's a bit gash and slow. Loan him out or sell him I wouldn't be fussed either way.

Good young prospect...bit worried he's going down the McAliskey route as he seems to be out round town all the time.

Good on the overlap, good crosser, gets in good attacking positions. just needs to sort out his defensive duties a bit, but from reports i heard from Hartlepool he did great there and they wanted to keep him.
I agree with the post above, i think he is a capable league 1 left back, if he can get a bit more 'solid' at the back then he has the ability to be a decent championship attacking fullback.

I agree he has a good cross but don't agree that he gets forward well. Babs his pants when he gets more than 10 yards over the half way line

Too slow and weak at the minute. I agree with offside on this. He only gets forward when playing wing back or the oppo have no winger. Was at fault for a lot of goals last season in a short spell under stan. Hartlepool away for example.

I believe he is one of the best crossers at the club as for his inability to get forward. From simple memory, his crosses provided the goal for Holdsworth at home to Leeds and the winner at Luton on the last away game that season. I'm sure I'll find more if pushed.
He is an excellent prospect who, if he improves his positional defending could be a mainstay for years a la D Burke.

Bit surprised at some of the stick he's getting on here. Don't think he's a bad little player. Not so sure he'll make it at a higher level than he is at now but I think he's a decent back up.

Needs to toughen up defensively to make it at this or any higher level.
Not a lot between him and Robbie, really. Both decent... but that's about it. Personally, I'd be buying at left back.
Harsh... but if we're talking promotion!

Harsh... but if we're talking promotion! Totally agree there, Skarz and Williams are two good back up players for league 1, but we could do with someone with more pace (Skarz) and someone with more positional awareness (Williams). If we do get promoted I see these two players moving on anyway, as their not solid enough for the Championship!!

Bit lightweight but can put in a good shift when needed. Can't see him being loaned out this season reckon he will provide competition for Robbie Williams. In my eyes he isn't the sort of player you would go home moaning about as we do Parker & Jevons.
He's decent but I think League 1 is as far as he will go.

As many have said I think league 1 is as high as he will go and so I think come next May he'll be surplus to requirements We need players who will be able to hack it in the championship as you don't want to go up with a team full of 'decent league 1' players. If you split the squad up there's Smithies, P.Clarke, Kay, Pilkington & Simpson from what I've seen all could hack it. N.Clarke, Ainsworth, Berrett, Collins, Williams & Roberts who have a chance of being good in the championship. Then I think you've got Skarz, Glennon, Butler, T.Clarke who would struggle and there's Craney, Flynn, Jevons, Parker, Goodwin, Denton & Lucketti who would look completely lost. Can't really comment on Novak or Eastwood as it's far too early to judge either of them.
