Have I arse, that's why I put an "sp?" after it as I was sure I was probably confusing the Dago and Wop words for "mouth". I'll admit the lamb version is a variant on the original recipe, but it works damn well.

I reckon Will and Bernie are in cahoots to wind everybody up today. I reckon they're both missing fags (make of that what you like)

Come on Will, titscmarch and oddie are universally known as complete spackers, everyone loves Palin, well apart from you.

palin and titchmarsh are basically the same thing these days
while we're on about it, does anyone not agree with the wag who pointed out that Gordon Ramsay is nothing more than a sweary Linda Barker, who should fuck off our screens for a bit, and go back to cooking people's dinner?

After Ramsay's constant cheap shots at Jamie I agree with your last statement.

Pish and fipsy, Richard, as you well know. I've had it in Italy made with pig, for Hank's sake.
Bnelly - eh? Once again, there seems to be a problem with the words you ladies are reading off the screen, not the ones I'm putting on it.

Ramsay is definitely over exposing himself, he's clearly a right slut for the money.

;D AWAGS 2 grumpy old men on a major rant about a guy who is genuine, passionate and actually cares about how our food is grown / reared.
He hasn't once been patronising, and he hasn't once been condescending. All he's done is tell it like it is.
He comes across as a top bloke.

You realise the above qualities were also possessed by Hitler, don't you?

Each to their own. My personal view is we don't own this planet. We have evolved and learned to use it's resources and animals to enhance our own life styles. I just think that we shouldn't take those animals and resources for granted, and that we should show them a little respect. I just welled up at that a little today... but not when mich said it. It was earlier when one of my 8 year olds said pretty much the same thing as part of a 'class debate' I was trying to run. I couldn't argue with it, neither could anyone else. Hope he means it/remembers it when he's older.

Hitler was a vegetarian! At least HFW eats meat, even though it's got to be reared and killed humanely.
It's the vegetarians that refer to me as a murderer and a corpse cruncher that get my fucking goat

re: Downfall Ooh! Don't delay, it's genius. Especially Goebbels' kids and their excitement at meeting kindly old Uncle Adolf.
I'm going to spoil the end for you though... he shoots himself, then his dog.

I could argue with it. But I'm not going to because it's 10 to 5 and I can't be bothered being unpleasant and antagonistic when I could simply turn off the computer and forget about it.

What would you do with a free goat? Remove its stomach, inflate it, and use it to cross a big river in the manner of a Greek hero?

oi mich you hate the meat is murder lobby, but believe in a chicken licken's right to fresh air? hmm I certainly do. We're omnivores. we are derived from hunter gatherers. Our bodies need essential vitamins and stuff provided by meat.....ergo we need to eat the bloody stuff. I also like the taste of it as well! Meat is simply a product of hunting. An animal which has been hunted has led a natural life up until it has been killed. We have learned to domesticate animals, why shouldn't those animals also have the right to as natural a life as possible before they are slaughtered? If you bear that in mind and take into consideration what I said earlier about respect for this planet and the life on it, then you should see where I am coming from. Sitting there sanctemoniously and patronisingly claiming you're a better human being because you don't eat meat winds me up like a fucking clock!

Bernie, I’m easily confused and you are really confusing me. I think I’ve been Bernied although I can't tell you and Will apart today so I've been Willed as well.
I told the Mrs that Downfall was a light hearted affair. She was crying when we left the cinema but has now insisted on watching Schindlers List and the Pianist. We're also planning a trip to Auschwitz. I wish I was making this up.

Ummm... if she cried at the end of "Downfall", isn't she likely to come out of "Schindler's List" holding her stomach from laughing so much?
Apologies for any Bernieing or Willying I may have inadvertantly done in your direction today. It's been a bit of a fish-kettle, workwise.

I caught the chicken programme last night. That woman who told him he should be ashamed of himself for campaigning because "it's guilt tripping, that's what it is. Guilt tripping." Er... does that mean we're not allowed to discuss anything 'bad' in case we make people feel 'bad'?
