Whoever was slagging Michael Palin off must be joking.

The guy who described Hugh as a conman had me laughing out loud.

Palin was a great python, and ripping yarns was aces, but his eastern europe thing was worse than springwatch

I looked at the free rangers in Mozzers today they were £7.40 whereas the much bigger factory chukky was £3.70.
I didn't get either of them and opted for some shin beef

I didn't see that Eastern Europe thing, but even his Himalayas one was getting towards the thin end. However, he's immune to criticism because of everything that went before.

The Eastern Europe one was good in parts, although you couldn't help feel he was getting tired of making similar jokes about each country by the end.

Jamie Oliver got roundly slaughtered on Breakfast this morning for being a hypocrite regarding his lucrative contract with Sainsburys and this current campaign.

Jamie Oliver got roundly slaughtered on Breakfast this morning for being a hypocrite regarding his lucrative contract with Sainsburys and this current campaign. I saw that. The problem is that HFW is doing something different to what he's suggesting and since C4 have been pushing them both, their respective chicken issues have become a little blurred.

Yes and he didn't really get his point across did he (it seemed to be about buying British and supporting farmers in implementing a halfway house of RSPCA sponsored methods). Going on about his relationship with the British public didn't help.

He got a telling off from Sainsburys but they have come out and defended him over the farmed salmon and other issues. He put them in a pretty awkward situation at the end of day but he makes his own opinions and will always tell it like it is (even if it means jeopardising part of his income). I think that comes across really as his contempt for supermarkets grows. Slightly hypocritical I know but the £2 million he gets from Sainsbury’s goes towards paying his 200 staff. I know you all think he's a c*** but the fifteen chain is run as a charity and he plows a lot of the money his brand generates into this.
What Sainsburys don't know is that he often sends his mate out to pick up bits and pieces from our local Waitrose.

They never did make a series of "Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall's Huge, Furry Wishing Stool", did they? Shame.
