Interesting comment nick that Billing was the best player today. He had two chances on goal that probably went at least 10 to 20 feet over the bar and made a stupid challenge off the ball which could have seen him booked. He still has a great deal to learn with one thing being not to lean back when having a shot. I thought Hamill looked ok and scored a great goal however clearly was not match fit hence was subbed. Lolley likewise was subbed and whilst the under 21s can certainly create chances and retain a good deal of possession its clear they are not that good in front of goal as the conversion ratio is poor. It will be interesting to see what happens with Duane Holmes as whilst he gets a fair bit of the ball the end product leave a fair bit to be desired. I thought this was on the whole a much better performance than that against Charlton and hope that with some finishing practice the goals will start to flow again. (1 nil to Town).

It's just struck me that most barn doors are probably smaller than the actual goal.

I see Gerrard isn't included tonight back at his old club, Lolley starting which is good news.

Two goals (so far) for Rekeil Pyke on his u21's debut. He's a first year scholar.

And a third from Lolley, making it a 1-3 comeback. Hamill and Holmes played too.

Anyone got any info on what's 'happening' with Jake Charles? I'm sure the club just said he 'rolled' his ankle in pre-season. The lad was flying, this, now long term injury, could potentially halt what has been, some very good development. Obviously a much more serious injury & doesn't appear to be anywhere near just now. Big shame.

Does anyone have a link to the tables for the U18s and U21s? We seem to be doing very well in our leagues but the official Town site gives very little information which is poor considering we have a lot to shout about

That is without doubt the worst commentator I have ever heard. He makes Phil Neville sound both interesting and insightful.

That is without doubt the worst commentator I have ever heard. He makes Phil Neville sound both interesting and insightful. It's unlikely commentary is his primary profession, being an U21 game and all. Probably just a player's dad.
