Fantastic result, two goals from Jake Charles in extra time. A cup final to come. Town play up and bring the cup back to Huddersfield!..

2 legs ? is this the cup or for promotion ? There is no promotion it's just like a play off system to find the best level 2 under 21 side.

Boyle seems to be our young free kick specialist.
It was a particularly good result considering that of our 15 players who appeared only 4 weren't teenagers compared with 8 from Palace who included an overage player in Garvan.

Who plays on our left wing? Looks the real deal.

Who plays on our left wing? Looks the real deal. Probably jack Boyle he's not an out and out winger though drifts all over much like say Ritchie at Bournemouth

Great video, thanks or putting it up. Some lovely passing, some great goals but the best bits about that for me was that there was an obvious team spirit and there was plenty of unselfish work done. Great effort Tony Carss, his staff & all the lads

It was an excellent season for the U-21's and the only player not eligible next season for the final squad is Lloyd Allinson (I hope that Murphy does move on and he can establish himself on the bench this season). we have a ready made replacement in Wilczynski for him.
Gorre looked in that final but he didn't earlier in the highlights from their visit to Canalside. See below.

Allinson is available as the goalkeeper can play as an overage player. As the rules state that they can play 3 outfield overage players, plus a goalkeeper.

Does the club's update today on contracts mean that we aren't even offering Jack Boyle professional terms, which in itself is quite staggering given his success at U18 and U21 level last season, have I missed any other news or is he going elsewhere.

He will be a 2nd year scholar this coming season, but he's 17, so he is old enough for a professional contract. No idea why he hasn't been offered a professional deal yet, especially considering he's been one of the most consistent performers last season. Thoroughly deserves a new deal.
