I thought the no 8 (was it Scott?) looked a great player in that clip....terrific positional sense, good engine, picks a pass beautifully & a bit unlucky with a couple of shots.

Who decided to name a club bugeaters? 😂 "Bugeaters FC is a Nebraska-based club. It was founded in 2018 and plays at the fourth level in the United States system. Its focus is on collegiate athletes and the development of them. The name is based on the nickname given to native Nebraskans in the late 1800s."

Originally thought it was quite strange but quite a cool reason for naming a club.

I'm mostly shocked that they could find 11 people in Nebraska.

Not sure what time the coaches are leaving canalside They'll have to look sharp if they're going to get there for kick-off

That sounds impressive considering the opposition. Anyone know much about Obiero? Seems to have been scoring regularly for the youth teams for quite a while.

The lad playing at right back looks a good prospect. Decent size, quick, composed on the ball and excellent vision
Obviously hard to tell from short YouTube clips but he can't be that far off the first team whoever he is

I think he usually plays left back.

That said, some really nice play in there against a team that looked physically more mature. Future looks bright. On a side note, press are making a big deal of Manure signing a young fella from Ajax who’s scored 10 goals in their u/17’s. Hopefully Town get Kian Harratt tied down to a decent contract and look at developing him for first team football.

Look forward to the scouting report, if you go 👍 Couldn't deliver a report/my findings on the match. The official site initially gave the kick-off time as 16:00 GMT, so imagine my surprise when I got there and spoke to a couple of Hertha II players who said that they'd finished the match 5 hours previously!! Well pissed off about that. So thanks for that, Official Site :-(

Yes, it was very embarrassing as the laughter from the Hertha players would testify. In fact it was so loud that I couldn't even offer protestations that I was not really at fault for coming 5 hours late. Luckily the women's hockey team on the next field saw my predicament and gave me permission to watch them for half an hour or so, which calmed me down a bit in the end.

The second goal was superb. the news that the u19s are going to play in the CentralLeague is in my view a great move.it will improve the lads mentally and also physical. With the best crop of young players we have had for a long time it bodes well for the pathway to the first team as some have already tasted. Well done town for accepting the invitation.

Sounds promising all around. Born in England but has obviously got enough of a reputation for himself for Italy to be interested, and probably wanting him to commit to their international set up. Hopefully playing at 2 years younger than the age group as well, same as Schofield did a couple of years ago. Will be interesting to see how he gets on next year.

Had a bit of a mare and was hooked at half-time. Definitely will be going out on loan again and it'll be a big one for him as he hasn't really fully impressed yet. Needs a good start wherever he goes.
