I just checked the Kickstarter I set up when I starter my thread, didn't realise you pay 5% then like 3% for payment processing and then VAT. I'd say you were a fairly known and trustworthy person Adam perhaps it would be more beneficial to skip commission and pool in your PayPal? Personally just think it'll be far more difficult to spread the word and encourage donations if people are having to go to the effort of transferring to a PayPal. Plus, the ability to see how much is raised/spread the URL etc will be much easier than telling people to give money to Adam. Is the 5-10% too bad?

And I agree, the transparency of the progress would be good to see.

I think a kickstarter or fundraiser type thing would be much better than Paypal. It's easier for people to donate, and easier to spread the word. Also, anyone who doesn't know Adam may feel slightly cautious about donating to an unknown Paypal address, whereas if we set up a donation page that looks more official, then people will trust it more.

I guess it depends whether theyd be used as normal flags or hung permantly somewhere within the stadium?

Foot I've forgotten which we're actually going for though. 20x10 would probably be a good size to spread across seats. If the flag design isn't appropriate for that then please ignore me!

Took this pic at the weekend and this is pretty much the room we have to work with if we want hanging banners? Could you possibly make them more horizontal HalifaxTerrier as theyd fit onto that concrete wall behind perfectly if so... Other option is some basic flags to lay on the seats...

A few weeks ago there was a thread on here regarding some crowd funded flags and banners. No idea if there has been any further development on the idea but being a bit of a design geek I've accumulated quite a lot of different graphics that I've produced over the recent years for various HTFC projects and in a bit of free time this afternoon (the usual friday easing off for us designers) I thought I'd try using some of them to create a couple of designs that I think could work quite well. I know it's unlikely anything will ever come of them but illustration and design is simply a passion of mine so thought I'd share a few ideas... Hi Jonny, i presented the flag designs to the panel and directors at last nights ATT meeting and they went down very well......The historical ones created most interest and the club now have copies for further discussion in to the funding of the flags.....positioning in the ground and final designs....Mr Clibbens was particularly excited

Personally love the Terrier one, well all the rest too. That Terrier though should end up on t-shirts somehow, so much better than the yappy fox that currently parades around the ground!

This one would fit great as a permanent banner on the concrete behind the FML. All we'd need to do would be to get some measurements, ok it with the club , get a quote and get it printed when funded..

Something like this? Maybe stick another one at the other side with a different design on... Maybe along the lines of the "History.. You've either got it or you havent" Would look great I reckon

Looks like an advertising hoarding that the eye just passes over. Stick to the big flags draped over the seats, or mega one's that hang from the stand roof. Sorry.

You cant read the ones at Old Trafford mate from the other side of the ground. Thats not really the point..

Would be interested to see what others have to say. I just think a permanent banner that doesnt need lugging to the ground every week, setting up etc would be great.. We can do cheapo flags as well...

Along these lines: You cant read them from all around the ground but they feature on pictures and give the whole stand more of a colour and "ultra" feel..
