We can hate them as much as we like but any club our size that's not being massively bankrolled wants to see a full away stand and loathe them or not LUFC are one of the few clubs that you can usually bank on to do it.

Totally agree, I hate the scum but it's a great derby game and the fans would miss it!

FND I know you have been following this matter very closely from your Dubai HQ .... Can I ask you, if you were to give a one word synopsis of Leeds' current plight . Would it be FUCKED ? Think I'd go with "Insolvent" They're going to have to start again financially, which will take a few years of pain. Unfortunately the vast majority of their fans just can't see this and so will believe ever kwik-fix that comes along. The things is though, everytime this happens the club gets deeper and deeper in the shit. Cellino has pumped c.£10m into the club since the turn of the year, just to keep it running. Imagine how much it would cost to turn things round, buy back the ground etc. etc. = certain transfer embargo from Jan 2015 if true.

In days now where some football you see on TV the people present are more of an 'audience' than a 'crowd' with their cameras, daytrippers the lot of them and every team has them. We too would miss the raw emotion created by derby games. Some sort of show of support planned for Wigan Away 12.15pm Sat 5th April live on Sky for the watching world to see when by then we will presumably have had the verdict. Can't wait to be a part of it and show my lad this is what football is all about.

all this bums on seats is a red herring. If L..ds arn't about then someone else will take their place. Wolves next season for example will sell out no problem at all.

Surely it's better to have one more sell out away stand a year though? Wolves or not; Leeds will always add a decent derby to the fixture list.

Nah. Sky have killed the game for the majority of clubs and supporters, and they may well help kill yours off if somebody with a modicum of sense doesn't come along soon.

Yes, their crowds are very good.....shows they couldn't manage a good 'en in a brewery then eh? They haven't got any money, yet their crowds are top drawer. Do they DESERVE another chance after the last time? ''15 points, the fa took....we had a party and laughed like f#@#! We all hate.....etc etc etc etc''. Still sang on the trips I've been on this season on various coaches and in the pubs. Pompy endured it.....Halifax, Scarborough, Aldershot and even Farsley endured it.....leeds havnt learned....they need a lesson. The good supporters of Hereford are expecting to have to start up again......I hope it happens to Leeds. The Leeds fans would have the time of their footballing lives, just like Rangers fans have had the last two seasons.......and all clubs through the leagues would benefit enormously through the turnstiles......let it be so!

They did. Got well and truly f..ked over. Relegated so far down the leagues... If it can happen to Farsley Celtic (now Farsley AFC) then why not Leeds? Agree Leeds have not learned their lesson. Does that make them scapegoat fodder? A Warning to all clubs not to overstretch?

They were SO unlucky the year they went down from the Conference.....if they had had one more season in that league they would have completed the new stand, received due grants and probably stabilised in the Conference. Such a shame......excellent clubhouse too.

A siege mentality thing, universally loathed so we all stick together more than most. The Leeds Salute when spotting a fellow Leeds Fan anywhere in the World as a unique example. Whatever anybody thinks we are proud of our club and anybody who has played for the team, 95% of ex-players are warmly welcomed back to ER and 95% of those players speak passionately of their time with Leeds and will not have a word said against the club or the fans. Of course every clubs fans are fiercely passionate in their support of their team but many clubs have a larger percentage who are indifferent, we generally do not have many of those because being a Leeds Fan you are always met with a strong rival opinion, never ever an indifferent shrug of the shoulders (Thank God!) Can understand that blind, loyal, fiercely passionate support can be seen as arrogance by many, but we wouldn't have it any other way. Bland United? Not a chance!
You see, you're trying to sound self-effacing and yet are still being condescending and insulting without even realising it and yet you are probably more eloquent than most of your fellow delusional fans. It really must be a gene fault. I'll translate:
We are so special we even have a salute, you know like the scouts or Spock off Star Trek ..... we're better than everyone Everyone else has fiercely passionate support but we have blind and loyal, fiercely passionate support ..... we're better than everyone Other clubs have shed loads of indifferent supporters whereas we have nearly none ..... we're better than everyone Nearly all ex Leeds players are granted sainthood by association, and love everybody and everything to do with Leeds thereafter, unlike ex-players of other clubs ...... we're better than everyone "Bland United? Not a chance". Unlike you Bland lot, Bland Town and Bland County and Bland Thistle ....... we're better than everyone
Tell me, has anyone ever heard these words from a Leeds fan "well actually, when it comes down to it we're really not that much different than any other clubs fans"?? Thought not!
So yes Marsh you are arrogant, you don't just appear it, but then again "you wouldn't have it any other way".
Bit like those other arrogant morons in East London, "we are Miwwaw, no one likes us we don't care". When will they get it through their Neanderthal skulls, they're just Millwall, "no one cares"!!

Marsh, I bet you'd do exceptionally well to even remember 95% of the dross that's been through the ever-revolving player turnstile at Elland Road these last ten years. Don't make me laugh - how many times have you lot chanted "you're not fit to wear the shirt" and then proclaim they'd be welcomed with open arms. Bloody hypocrites, you lot turn on the side in an instant, i know we can be a set of moaning gits, but part of the reason you are where you are because you spend a load of (borrowed)cash on wages of decent looking players who just can't handle playing for Leeds United and are scared of the fans!

You see, that's the twat coming out of marsh. Loyal? Loyal? Your lot were chasing the Italians taxi a month or so ago, McDermott was the next Mourinho. Now your lot are having a paddy at the FL because they won't let the Italian take over and they'd rather have McDermott the rugby coach in charge.

This "SPECIAL" salute, I`ve seen at Knowlsley Safari Park, a L**ds fan swings by his tail from a tree branch whilst eating a banana and throwing his excreta at his "SPECIAL" pal who is on a car bonnet trying to pull the wiper arms off it. "SPECIAL, WORLDWIDE SALUTE" ? Pretentious bunch of wankers more like. Without doubt the most hated club in Britain and how come in the space of 2 months the retarded fuckwits have gone from having a police escort to stop them attacking the crooked Italian to crying because he isn`t allowed to buy them ? And while I`m on a roll I fully agree about your summing up of "Marsh", likes to come on here preaching the good Beeston bible but just as happy to "warn" any TOWN fan not to dare to wear their Red & Yellow stripped YAA shirt as it would be taken as insulting and result in a justified attack from a Gelderd Ender ??
