'Huge' clubs don't get 17k at home, regardless of what's going on.

It feels like they're losing every week yet we are still below them. Will be a joke if we don't manage to finish above them given what's gone on there Charlton only 8 pts behind us now - too little, too late...........I hope!

With games in hand and a new manager its very likely they'll beat the drop.

If they were 8 points (realistically need 9 to get ahead of us though) behind us with 2 games in hand while in 22nd then I might consider being concerned. Yet to see anything to make me believe that we're anything other than safe. Even before the Blackpool game I felt we were safe, and I still do.

so is a points deduction for the lads from the skip still possible, or would it now be deferred to next season? They must be bricking it.

Good god, every thread is turning into panicfest about relegation. Everybody chill out and get behind the lads on satdy, then look forward to disrupting Ipswichs play off dream on Tuesday.

They are at Wigan this Saturday, they have some hard games to come, how can that bald egg stay as manager, seem clueless.
Lol.

no panic.... just the knowledge that if anyone can feck it up, town can. Yes, but at the same time that also relies on at least 6 teams getting more points than us before the end of the season. That's not gonna happen, even if we lose our last 7 (which we won't). At times though I think even if we win our next 2 games that people will panic (even if every other result in that time goes against us).

Tonights result makes our away draw with Charlton look a better than most on here thought at the time.

For us to go down Barnsley need to win 4 out of 8 or Millwall or need to win 5 out of 7 (That's assuming we lose our last 7) it aint gonna happen AND Birmingham, Bolton, Blackpool, Doncaster AND Charlton have got to ALL do better than us to a greater or lesser degree. 1 of these 6 teams could well finish above us. 2 of them might, perhaps 3 if we perform even worse than we have been doing. And bear in mind that given we have a better goal difference than every team below us, they likely would all need MORE points to finish above us. 6 teams from 7 to all overtake us??? Not happening, and hasn't been for about 3 or 4 weeks.

After all, they've won 4 of the previous 8. They look to have some tough games, but 2 of their last 3 (Derby & QPR) might be a little easier as it's likely (by then) that those 2 will have little to play for & will be focusing on the play offs. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying Town are going to get dragged into this, but I keep reading we've enough points now. I don't agree with that & fully expect 3rd bottom to get to at least 46 or 47 points.

They always try to inflict the maximum pain However, if they go into admin this season and it turns out that 10 points *wouldnt* relegate them, then in that circumstance, the deduction would be deferred and would apply to next season (the date for that ruling to come into play was for admin entered since last Thursday). Twas a rule brought in to stop clubs going admin route to write off debts whilst knowing they would be safe from relegation.

Think we should start backing the multiple bets that would send Town down like the final days of last season.

The players still haven't been paid for March yet. I guess that GFH are assuming that Cellino will pick up the bill when/if he wins his appeal. If he doesn't, then is there any other option than admin?
(I think the decision is today btw)

How does the situation off the pitch make professional footballers play any worse? ''Oh, I haven't had my £100,000 this month.....I've only had £50,000!!!!!!! It made me miss a penalty!!!!!!'' Come on Wigan, put 6 past 'em.

Think admin has long been the anticipated outcome for GFH. How come you they haven't got season tickets on sale yet, is it so they can bring in the revenue after admin? Sneaky, and immoral (especially from the creditors point of view) if that's the case. Leeds probably raise 4 or 5 Million a year in Season Ticket sales, money that they desperately need right now, but money they won't have a penny of after administration.

maybe the best result would be for the league to say that because cellino's court case isnt concluded yet (subject to appeals) they cannot rule on it - so the decision is in fact no decision. Let the club stew for a couple of months before the league make a decision obliterating them.
