Wonder if he features tomorrow, be good to see him back at the John Smiths, anyone know if he still plays for Ipswich, or is he just a coach there?

Be nice to see him back if only to see if there's been any progress on him "coming good".

According to Wikipedia he's made 1 appearance this season, so highly unlikely I would imagine.

Just imagine if he gets the winner. This place will actually explode.

I'd have rather kept Alan Lee than signing Stead! Just for the comedy value of the sly elbows and the comical dives! And his hair style!

I think the way he bullied defenders and took the knocks for Rhodes is underrated.

I loved Alan Lee coming on as a sub. He always brought passion and desire on the pitch and roused the team. He always wanted the ball as well and was a good 'impact' sub

Say what you like about Alan Lee but I'd rather have him in the squad than Stead

It was a bad move, lee could have been involved with the coaching staff here, no doubt he ll come off the bench tonight and score winner in a dire 1-0 defeat for town!

Always showed passion in the blue and white stripes wasn't the best player by a long way but always gave 100%

I liked watching Alan play for us, and we shouldn't devalue a physical presence and a bit of cheating, not with Grant Holt now playing for us.
I'll never forget Lee fouling the keeper then pushing the ball in with his hand, true comedy.
Next thing you will be starting a thread suggesting Wayne Alison was no good because he had no football skills
