We weren't terrible yesterday. We gifted them the first goal and then bossed the 1st half all the way after, albeit struggling to create anything meaningful - but we were the ones pressing and playing. Then Lynch took a dive off the ball and slid to his knees playing for some sort of non-existent foul which meant that their player had one on one to chip and eventually score from rebound. Absolutely criminal. He should be absolutely ashamed of himself, he's a centre back for christ's sake. As well as his pissing about for first and Smithies' 'it would probably be more difficult for them to score if I just sat by the corner flag' shot going into the middle of the goal and him missing it... If we had another Hudson instead of Lynch and any other keeper in the league who doesn't drop his guts annually a soon as the site of the Bremner statue creeps into view of the team coach window, it wouldn't have been a 3-0 score line. They were very effective and dangerous on the counter attack and pinged us three times that way. We lost our way after third goal and the threat was gone but we still managed a few chances, but all hope was lost. They'd got the crowd going and some of their players had really grown in confidence. But they weren't better than us really whatever they say, or our fanatic hystericalists say. Unfortunately some people have managed to whip the Leeds fixture into something out of this world, with life and death hinging and the rewriting of the Greek classics according to result and the constant desperation for us to be of any real relevance to them. There's a constant wank-fest over them on here commenting on their every bowl movement and a decent 2 Leeds threads per day rate created, which has made it an unhealthy full-time obsession to some, which is why a defeat results in such a cataclysmic fallout on here after. And yet we could only manage to shift a paltry and embarrassing 1700 tickets with people desperately scrambling for reasons and justifications not to go. It really is shameful. There will be very few football clubs in the UK worth any salt who would fail to shift 2000 tickets for a local derby, especially against a club we are completely obsessed with. Also the the guy in the bottom tier in the light blue shirt tucked in to skinny black jeans and winklepickers chanting UNITED UNITED UNITED constantly cos apparently it winds them up, you are a tool and I hope you're not actually a full time town fan. Oh and the laughable way our teenage youth element (that sit in the kilner bank haha) that strategically plan their day around making sure they always have a police escort from the train station and back again. Leaving the game at full time and standing by the police and buses hoping they'll go 'right you lot on' and then coming on moaning 'they wouldn't let us walk back' course they wouldn't....haha Poor Town form, price or just 'scared'...take your pick but it is incredible given the amount of mindspace folk on here give them.

Some people hate them so much they won't give them £36. Whilst others don't feel safe. Weak excuses if you ask me. If you can't afford £36 or don't want to pay that amount on principal, then that's fair enough. Bellend Rd, is hardly downtown Basra, it's not that bad at all.

We were in the city centre all day, both before & after, plus walked it to & from the ground & never saw a hint of bother. Leeds is no different to any other away game - a bit of common sense is all that's needed. It really is strange that we always take so few, especially when you consider that we generally have very good away support. Wigan last season for example, pretty sure we took twice as many & that's much further. Usually take 4,000 or so to Barnsley etc. etc.

We took 6,000 there for the League cup about 10 years ago. Since then, no one has wanted to go.

Was drinking with up to 80 town fans before the game. I was with 20 Leeds and not a sniff of bother. I know you wont want to hear this but ( some)Leeds and Town fans are good mates round where I am. met up with a couple after game also. If you don't look for any bother you wont get it at Leeds.
On the game itself we were due a decent performance as we have been gradually getting better. I was concerned when I saw your line up as I thought it would be a lot closer. I called the sending off as Bunn had been round our full back 3 times before he was fouled for the red. Byram should have come on earlier for us.
Your best player was Bunn and thought Coady had a good first half. Long season and honestly think you may struggle. But a few wins in this league gets you a big lift. I think its dependant on another striker coming in but good ones are rare and wages might be a problem. Keep JV fit ( i know!) and he will get you enough goals to get out of trouble.

I know many people weren't over the moon with it last season but would Danny Ward not be an option up front for a run of games? Not his position but when I saw him play there last season he did cause problems. He's a player I rate. Surely a better option than Stead? Probably will get shot down for suggesting it, I don't watch a lot of town but to me Ward and Wells would be more effective than Wells and Stead.

Only reason you may get shot down is we need to sign the striker to make the difference.. I remember watching Rhodes, Novak, Robinson and Simpson early season when Clarky would swop two for two at around 70 minutes and we actually defended from the front.. So signing a striker for me is nothing to do with Vaughan being injured, we should have got one when Stead showed up too lightweight early doors and when Pato had the altercation with Clayton.. We have tried but always been let down...

Many fans are confused about how we signed Coady, Butterfield, Robinson, Majewski, & Hudson , and sold Norwood and Clayton whilst managerless. It clearly seems the wrong way round. If Powell was consulted, then he is more responsible than ever for the wrong recruitment priorities, and the lack of direction currently apparent in our squad. Surely we have learned something from previous signings, e.g. Paterson, Stead etc.thar players judged inadequate for this division are unlikely to improve our squad strength and ability.

Yes, Scanz was on his way to Millwall until Powell blocked that move. Ward was as good as sold to Blackpool but personal terms couldn't be agreed with Ward and Blackpool. What was the Board thinking ??

Forget this needs to play with a big man bollox, he saw lots of the ball today and nearly always turned away from goal rather than taking men on. Got a chance laid on a plate and made a right knackers of it by trying to roll it into the goal. Looks like a million bucks down the shitter at the moment.Okie dokie 91 appearances at Bradford City the vast majority along side James Hanson 42 goals, but as you've seen him 28 times scoring 7 goals I'll bow to your superiors footballing knowledge, your last two seasons you battled relegation with better starts than this season 8 games in you look in big trouble "sick note" Vaughan out again long term ? and no back up well Jon Stead but even we sent Jon back. PS £1.3 million bucks with add on's down the shitter . He doesn't post on here anymore, cos were too negative.
