Strange considering Powell said we would be ready for this game.

If you don't get behind this manager Deano will be off. Well Deano, back Chris Powell with some dosh or Town fans won't turn up to watch this dross. You say the players have under achieved, I say they've over achieved for the past 2 seasons. The Championship is becoming Premier 2, you either buy into it or we're doomed. Doing it on the cheap will get us nowhere apart from back to league 1. So many players missed out on this summer,. who's left now to bring in

Ward wins more headers than stead up top why not play him with wells Ward will score more goals than stead as well so why not play him up top with wells ? Stead is SHIT We'd be better off playing ward upfront on his own if we set up like we did today. Give wells a spell on the bench and take the pressure off him.

I'd be dropping Robinson, smithies, and lynch if Gerrard is fit, for the Millwall game. To play in all 3 positions ?!!! ;D Sent from my GT-I9505 using proboards

Ok, we lost to Leeds. We are having the piss taken out of us on Facebook and text and in person by our Leeds supporting mates. Probably, we owe a few of them a beer after losing our bet that we would beat them, and didn't.
But it doesn't mean Hoyle should be called all the names he has been called on here tonight, it's disgusting. By all means question him but some of the personal stuff on here today is embarrassing, and I disassociate myself with anyone who posts such utter crap.
It doesn't make canalside shit, we should all be proud of such a facility.
It doesn't make Powell shit, he's a good manager and we need to give him a chance.
So if you feel like posting your drivel like a spoilt brat who's daddy has just refused you a nice cream, go to bed, sober up and leave it till tomorrow.
We are at the wrong end of the table and we need to stick together. Players, fans, manager, board of directors. We will turn this around, I'm sure .
Up the terriers!!!!

All this about £8m for Rhodes and other money from transfers, it's not as if it hasn't been spent. How much of Hoyle's own money should he keep spending we lose money left, right and centre. If Hoyle goes then what? We'll be well and truly screwed we're just not a big club and with all the money in the Championship I'm afraid it's simply too big for us. "Go get a striker", with what though?

Calm down, calm down!!!! Leeds is a great game to win, and an awful one to lose, but in reality its just another game. Disappointed? No, I'm gutted!!!!! But its just another game. Derby games are always difficult to use as an indicator of form. Not claiming second sight or anything, but I did say when the fixtures came out that it was a tough start and we could be bottom at the end of oct. But there's such a long way to go. Whether we like it or not, we have the squad we have and the manager as well for that matter. We may as well put this behind us, get behind the team and the manager and go for 3 pts, shit-or-bust against Miwaw. whilst i agree with a lot you say my worry is that the longer you stay in the bottom 3 the harder it becomes to get out, confidence sinks and things go against you, so while you shouldnt panic in october before you know it its february and your in deep shit, just ask barnsley last season

Now we have Hudson at the back, we just need a forward capable of being a threat in Championship. They don't come cheap, but relegation could be pretty expensive - DH knows that!

Forget this needs to play with a big man bollox, he saw lots of the ball today and nearly always turned away from goal rather than taking men on. Got a chance laid on a plate and made a right knackers of it by trying to roll it into the goal. Looks like a million bucks down the shitter at the moment.Okie dokie 91 appearances at Bradford City the vast majority along side James Hanson 42 goals, but as you've seen him 28 times scoring 7 goals I'll bow to your superiors footballing knowledge, your last two seasons you battled relegation with better starts than this season 8 games in you look in big trouble "sick note" Vaughan out again long term ? and no back up well Jon Stead but even we sent Jon back. PS £1.3 million bucks with add on's down the shitter .

We've needed someone nasty to stamp their authority in difficult away games for about as long as we've needed a physical presence up front and a decent manager....

We've got Coady to do that job for us. Hogg and Peltier can also cover. We could do with a ball playing type. Someone like Norwood at Reading...

Two positives from today:
Powell can now have no doubts about the lack of ability and application of some of these players We will now be signing more than 1 loan player and I expect them to be better than what we previously would have expected.
This result could in a stupid way be good for us.
Am I clutching at straws ??

One playing really pissed me off today, although not singling him out as the cause of the result, but bloody Peltier's second half attitude was fucking disgraceful, just jogging back, head down looking totally uninterested, anymore of that he should be stripped of the captaincy and it be given to Hudson.

We have played really well in patches over the last couple of seasons. We have also, like today played absolutely dog shit for long periods of the season. I do think that we have a core of players who are good enough but we lack a consistent style of play and set of tactics to build from, at the moment we have no idea what team is going to turn up from week to week and what the set up will be...
No need to panic just yet. I think.

Wow QPR paid 1m for him too. Get Dixon back in, if that Robinson is better than Dixon then I'm a Dutchman.

Comments from the Leeds forum. 'lets not forget we beat a sure relegation side today'. "Also their fans should be ashamed not selling their allocation when we Leeds took double what they brought today to Bournemouth midweek, costing much more. What shit support they have". How true!

Thanks for getting the striker in we need for todays important match. Thanks actually for not bothering over the summer or even last season when it was blindingly obvious we needed one. Thanks for the most lacklustre forward line since Jevons and Parker. Down to you Deano. Sell 8 million pounds worth of striker and spend a mere fraction on the replacement when it is obvious the area needs strengthening. How youv'e got some nerve having a pop at the fans for been critical i dont know. Another c*** who only comes on here when we lose
you are a total bastard who's only joy in life is to twisted the knife
It is time that cowards like you came to meetings and said it face to face
The language on this site is disgusting. The guy/girl is voicing their opinion as a paying football fan. Why are they not allowed to have a negative view on recent events? I've just been completely disgusted by a fans response to my message. There's no need for it

So it doesn`t get lost in what I think is a great merger can I repeat yes a striker is paramount but we also need a midfield enforcer because our engine room is poor again. P.S I`m running out of antidepressants as I`ve o.d. today but I`ll be back to my positive self by tmr. :)UTT.

How many forward passes have you seen Peltier and Hogg make in the past few games at CM? They certainly won't make the same contribution in goals and assists as he made. That leaves a deficit.

Not certain why we were so bad today but unless I was sat with my back to the game I did not see anyone apart from Bunn and possibly Hudson who could take any credit from the game.
We have sold Clayton and Norwood and not replaced them with anyone half as good, this is not good business if we get relegated so I wish people would stop saying we have done well.
We desperately need a strong mobile forward (Well's will never be this ) (Clarke at Bournemouth) as an example and we need to man up a bit we just bounced off some of the Leeds players today.
If we are to continue as a selling team then I think our time in the championship may be limited you do not achieve stability/promotion by selling your best players.
Trying not to be to disappointed about today but we were absolute rubbish lets see what happens in the next few weeks

I hope CP chief sorts it soon or we are down. And hope Deano stops callin the fans.
