Ok first half, shit second.
Having said that, it was him that missed the tackle in the middle of the park for the second goal.

So you had an agenda for your question .. He may be no Clayton but him plus 1.2 mill is some Clayton !! And please don't forget Clayton was forcing the move.. And he was in last year of contract.. FFS Nick move on man

You asked he did yesterday (implying you didn't know), then offered the opinion that Clayton is better. I was just curious how you came to that conclusion.

its better because its cheaper. I was asked regularly to give kit to men that was cheaper than the previous issue , we spent our own money repairing the older, better kit. Cheaper with money in the bank often isn't a 'life saver'...

Cheaper with money in the bank often isn't a 'life saver'... Rather than give us an irrelevant annecdote from your own life can you suggest what you would have done with Clayton? He wanted to go and we got good money for him and Butterfield on the cheap. The board can be blamed for the striker situation but I'm not sure what we could've done here. Butterfield hasn't been great so far but he hasn't played a lot of football in the last couple of years so will take time to get truly match fit and in tune with his new team mates.

Sorry I've edited my first post which was grammatically incorrect. You may see "both ways" but what would you have done... People at football clubs have to make DECISIONS . They can't sit on their hands going " I don't really know" like Mavis rucking Riley.. How many arse threads have you stated since yesterday.. ? A match you couldn't be fussed to go to

I like Butterfield. He's a proper footballer like Clayton. Unfortunately, like with Clayton, as he's got good control, passing and all-round ability anything that doesn't go long is played into him. He then has to look at the options of who to pass to and there's not always a lot on. Think he'll be a decent signing myself.

Tbf. I just say what I think. I'm a Town fan. I admit I do knee jerk posts. Sum times. but not all of them. Consider me told off.

Nick, get over your hard on for clayton, we got a good deal in the circumstances and if you're going to start judging butterfield lets remember how poor clayton was for much of his time here
