Better from Wells that. That miss has fired him up.

How's that not a penalty?! Evening out ones we've not got (Vaughan's the most obvious).

The player was going down long before Lynch put his foot in. He was looking for the penalty when he went into the box

That's the quickest Drenthe has run today to take that corner.

So ponderous, so lucky yet a point in the bag at the end of the day.
If that's the point that keeps us up it'll be a good 'un.

We looked way more solid at 433 than we did with 2 upfront

Poor performance. We deserved to lose against an average outfit. Reminded me of the lacklustre performances we were putting in when Powell first joined.

We looked way more solid at 433 than we did with 2 upfront Aye but we also looked much more like scoring. Our first shot on target a minute after Wells came on. We can't play at home with the fear of losing, we need to give the opposition something to worry about, which was lacking until Wells came on.

Yes, he was probably looking for it but pleasantly surprised it wasn't given. Lynch nowhere near getting the ball, caught the player, so usually expect those to result in a penalty. Definitely settle for a point after that.

All seemed very laboured today. Slow build up play even when scans and bunn got on the ball, lots of sideways passing and little end product. Did we have a shot on target before wells came on? We only had 2 or 3 after

Can't agree that we deserved to lose. Both teams could have nicked it. Exactly as predicted. Dull match all round but a game we'd have probably lost in previous seasons
We were no worse than them

442 at Derby and Fulham we conceded 5 goals. Bunn wasn't at the races today. Scannell and Hammill to start next week for me. I don't think Butterfield and Poyet have enough to be a central 2 on today's evidence.

I think Powell got his tactics wrong today. They were very average and susceptible to the break all the time, but we had such a lack of pace and drive that the breaks quickly diminished. The game could have easily gone either way, but it could've even more easily have been 2 more points on our tally. First time I've seen Holt play and I wasn't impressed at all, but I don't think it was entirely his fault. The bit of hoofball we played in the first half meant he was flicking it on to a non-existent partner. Scannell was good, as was Butterfield, but I thought Murphy was excellent and more than deserved his clean sheet. MOTM for me.

Lynch is an imbecile. End of. And why Scannell tries to beat his man on pace in injury time whwen he's lost out all game, is baffling to say the least.
