Can't see them getting as far as our back line very often.

Jesus has signed for Bolton. Bench on Saturday apparently, he built it himself....

this lad looked out of place in midfield today, centre half playing centre midfield for me

this lad looked out of place in midfield today, centre half playing centre midfield for me We lost the midfield battle in the first 20 mins not saying it was entirely his fault, agree he hasn't the ability on the ball to play in midfield, make good CB cover for Lynch or Hudson. Like when CP brought in Poyet does he feel obliged to fit this loanee in the strating line up? Will be interesting what he does when Hogg and Smith are fully fit

Thought he was really poor. Passing non-existent, far too deep basically playing as a 4th centre back and never got in the game.
Get well soon Hogg.

Im no fan of Gobern, but he really should have been brought on for edgar early in the 2nd half. Just looked lost and became a bit of a liability in the last 20 minutes.

Don't normally slab players but he was poor lobbed it forward easy pickings Leeds come at us it was obvious we needed a change from 60 mins.

Not mobile enough, didn't get up and down like Hogg does and rarely got in their faces. One crunching tackle for a defensive midfielder in a derby match is poor. Hated the guy but we were crying out for someone like Austin in our team to put themselves about, get in their faces and wind em up. We just stood off and let them take control.

My first viewing of him but he looked like a cheaper version of Peltier,a stopper but nothing more.Gobern would be better there imo and give us more balance in midfield. I don't mind us getting a cheaper Pelts but don't need the feel to play him from the start.
Sent from my HTC One_M8 using proboards

He's not great in centre mid, is he? Too clumsy and leaden footed to be in midfield, and we certainly don't need a limited anchor man in midfield when we've got 3 at the back.

Gobern is a much better option in midfield, been harshly treated in my book

Edgar was very disappointing today - I'm afraid the Birmingham cast-off isn't good enough.

agree with a lot said following, however we shouldn't write him off, his best days will come at centre half

It's all well and good shipping out the deadwood but I'm not too enthused with letting Powell loose in the transfer market if his signing of Edgar is anything to go by
It might be even less pretty to watch once he's brought his own group of 'triers' in to the club
